I loved this. I brought the tie and the glasses. There's even earrings that light up (small diamond like studs). I wore these for my weekend in Las Vegas. Battery pack and operation was a breeze. Guaranteed to make you the hit of any party.

It's... OK?

Figured I'd spring on this as a random goofy purchase. It was OK.

It arrived weirdly folded, which wouldn't be a big deal for just cloth. But because of the plastic tube lighting, it's like permanently folded that way? I might be able to straighten it out, but it's proving difficult. After attempting once and putting it on, the light wire looks wobbly and weird, and I honestly wouldn't want to wear that for a DJ performance as I had originally intended.

Anyway, it's fine? But not great. Keep your expectations low.

Party fun Tie Blue - Longer Length Version

Ok..."tie" is not really how to describe these. They are one step away from a clip-on but better because, the bolo-like loop used to attach them means you can wear them in more situations. A friend was at a recent party in a turtle neck and I had this in my car as an extra tie option. Loaned it to him and it went perfectly with his sweater. Great conversation piece and fun to wear.

You can make it flash or burn steady. The AA batteries required mean you can wear it for quite awhile. The party where this was worn was 6+ hours and the batteries never gave out. Took it to a second Party that went from 5Pm until 2AM and the batteries STILL kept going. (Maybe it was the energizer brand I used?)

The nylon used to keep the neon piping attached to the tie element is not likely to hold up for too long but, the price is not that expensive. And the look works!

Had tons of compliments and questions on where to buy these fun ties. Will buy them again in more colors.

How you attach it to shirt: There is a zipper-loop at the top of the tie, and a zipper hangs down the back. When you lift the zipper tab, you can pull the loop to make it as big as you want, slip it over your head, then pull on the zipper in back to tighten. 1 AAA Battery NOT included. Has two settings - continuous glow, and on-off-on-off (not too fast, not annoying). Looks great even in a room with lights out during the day, with some light coming in. Really nice neon appearance. Tie itself is decent quality, too, does not scream "cheap." Very happy with this product, will buy more.

Cool Tie but a little too short and not bright enough

Overall the tie is pretty cool. Lots of compliments. I bought it to wear in a dance performance being put on my Dads at the end of a recital. Just figured I would have some fun with it.

There are two things to watch out for...
1. It is not a full length tie. I would say it is closer to being the size of a kids tie. The description says you can adjust the length, but they are referring to the part that goes around your next....so you can adjust the length to fit over a bigger head. I solved this "short tie" problem by leaving it loose around my neck (but that worked for the type of dance we were doing).
2. It does not show up at all in bright light. As I was backstage or in hallways, the neon purple glowed brilliantly. Out on stage, with all the stage lights shining, you just couldn't see the light at all. I would imagine for a school event --- dance, football game, etc. --- you would be fine, but not at the gym all lit up.

Light Up Tie (Purple) A fun little favor for showing off how awesome you are at a dark or even daylight(er) occasion.
The light tube's attached lightly, but still feels tightly joined enough. If it were to ever separate, likely easy enough to just sew back on to the tie. Maybe add a loop around the light at a certain cm. intervals so it'll look complete with more custom design?

A Real Stinker

This is a novelty item, no more, no less. Purchased as a gag prop for my son to wear to school Homecoming Dance. Upon opening package the tie gave off a pungent smell. The draw string ends used to tighten the tie were fastened with glue that separated with the slightest tough. I Didn't have high expectation considering the price. Perhaps after allowing the item to air out awhile the stench will subside enough for my son to wear it to the event.

Don't waste your money on this seller...buy it from neon nightlife they're ties actually look like ties...i got.this one it makes a high pitched noise and the tie is skinny it's pitiful.

My husband wore this to two dances and it was a hit both times! The first was a school dance where he is a teacher. The kids loved it! The second was a Valentine's Dance for ballroom dancers. He received many complements. It was easy to put on and wear. Even though it was folded for mailing, it straightened out nicely.

I bought this tie in spite of some of the negative reviews. I don't know what they expected. I think it lights up just fine. Looks great in a semi-dark to dark room. Not bad in a lit room. My only complaint is that it kinda curls up a little at the bottom. Other than that, no problems. Arrived on time and as advertised.
