Rust-Oleum NeverWet Moisture Repellent Treatment is an advanced super hydrophobic technology system designed to prevent moisture and corrosion on a number of surfaces including most plastics, canvas, concrete, galvanized metal, asphalt, metal, wood and much more. Two-part formula will not allow liquids to penetrate the surface. Not recommended for use on electronic devices or clothing--use NeverWet Fabric or Boot and Shoe on clothing, footwear and other similar fabrics.

Cool experiment but utterly impractical

The water repellent mechanism is VERY cool. Water really does bead up and run off just like it shows in the video.

Here's what it doesn't do, though.
1. The color is not a "little" or "milky" haze. If you get it on thick enough to work, it's full gray. There is no mistaking that you've done something to your material. (My black gloves came out about the color of a Confederate Army uniform.)
2. They are serious about this only covering 10 square feet. Try to cover more than that and the coverage is too thin and completely ineffective.
3. The box said great for concrete, metal and wood - and maybe it does work on stiff material like that. The box said good for leather and fabric - and I disagree. It was almost impossible to get good coverage and the few areas that did are already peeling off. I see that Rust-Oleum has since come out with alternate formulas specifically for fabric and for leather. Maybe they work better. This formulation was pretty worthless on fabric and leather.

I sprayed it on my vinyl siding that always was dirty from mud splashing on it and it kept it perfectly clean. Amazing. See picture... guess on which slat I sprayed Never Wet ???

Used this product to spray paint a stencil onto our sidewalk for marketing. It came out really neat! Anytime it rains, our logo shows up. Just make sure to follow the instructions!

Bought this to use on my cat box. I have a diabetic cat that pees a lot! He pees against the side of the box, and with clumping litter, it turns to cement. It was so hard to get it off the side of the box. Broke a couple scoops. I thought maybe a hammer and chisel would be good. I saw a video of this stuff and decided to try it on the box. I sprayed 3 coats of each spray on a clean cat box and voila, the clumps are no longer stuck to the side of the box. At first, I didn't think it would work for what I needed because it gave the smooth box a rough texture, but no worries. Clean up is so much easier. If it wears out at all, I will just redo it. I am very happy with it.

Absolutely amazing! I watched video on line about this never wet and was curious. This stuff is amazing! I first used it on my satellite dish to help with rain & snow accumulation. The Rain & snow just float right off like nothing, it doesn't stick at all! I also used some of this on my front porch step. With the built in slope of the step and the Never Wet, the rain and all water just run right off as fast as it falls.

Its easy to apply, and I found it dried clear when on the dish and concrete step. The box says it'll dry to a frost white but I haven seen this yet.

This stuff work great so far and now i'm thinking of all the different places I can possibly use it.

We used on our litter boxes and it's amazing! It's been about a month now and it's still working perfectly. I'm curious to see how long it goes before needing a touch up or respray. Either way, it's worth every penny. I want to coat everything now! Patio chairs are next.

Repels water so good it will make your kayak hover.

Stuff has so many uses I'm still finding them. Great for kayak paddles to stop drips, outdoor furniture to stop getting a wet butt the day after it rains. Also great for the seat portion of a sit on top kayak. Makes the water drain super fast and keeps your butt drier. Basically just makes water run straight off anything you apply it to.

This product is amazing. I used it for a school project, making waterproof type installations. It was quick and easy to follow the 2-step process, and the results were fantastic! They lasted a while, too.

I used this to waterproof my litter box. I saw somewhere you could so this to prevent it caking to the bottom which has been an issue for us. I use an automatic litter box and the little would stick to the scoop and the whole thing would get clogged. So I completely cleaned it out and treated the entire box with this. (It takes 30 minutes for the base and top coat each so you are going to have to dedicate an hour without a litterbox, if you're kitties can handle that. Or get a temporary one). I have not had any issues with it clumping to the bottom!

Recommended for bee keeper to help deter black hive beetles. So far, so good. It apparently make the surface so slick they can't walk up into the hive. There is a YouTube video with instructions on how to use this product.
