Best little waffle maker ever!
by leahas (5 out of 5 stars)

I do not normally rave about kitchen appliances but I love this little guy! I impulse bought it after reading some reviews and craving waffles. It seriously is the best waffle maker I have ever used. We had a more expensive one that would flip to cook evenly, but this thing has that beat by a mile. I have used it a dozen times and the waffles come out perfect every time. I spray with vegetable oil before pouring in 1/3 cup of batter (as other reviewers have noted it does not come with a measuring cup) and then set a timer for 4 minutes. When I am done I just unplug it and let it cool, then wipe it off with a clothe.

I know the colour and cartoonish logo may turn some people off but I seriously recommend this iron to everyone.

Works With Vegan, Gluten Free Batter!!!!
by Eshe (4 out of 5 stars)
August 13, 2018

So far, so good! I've only used it once but I'm happy with how the waffles turned out. Especially, considering I used a vegan, gluten free, soy free batter. I even added banana to the batter. Nothing spilled out the sides, nor stuck to the griddle. They didn't look as fluffy as the picture on the box. They came out fluffy at first, but sort of deflated as it cooled. But that could just be user error, or because of the batter. I'm assuming the latter, which is kind of normal with pastries that's vegan/gluten free. It's hard to get that 'gluten' fluff. Either way, my 3.5 year old loved them and has been asking for waffles for the last few days.

My minus one star is the missing cup. In the instruction on how to use, a provided cup for the correct amount of batter should have been included. But we didn't get one. And when I read through the questions on Amazon, other people also had to asked about the correct amount of batter to use. So I'm assuming they didn't get one either. It would have been nice to have. Some batches came out better than others. Some batches I didn't put enough; and others I put too much so they stuck together while pulling them out. But it was not to difficult to pull them apart. I'm sure with a little more practice I'll figure it out. But all in all, a good product, so far.

Bonus!!! Folks with toddlers, this eliminates having to cut up your child's waffle for them! #fingerfood ;-)

WILL IT WAFFLE? YES! YES IT WILL!
by KachinaDesigns (5 out of 5 stars)

We do alot of waffle iron cooking, and you would be surprised what you can make in this. I have cooked grilled cheese sandwiches, scrambled eggs, sausage links, and of course, waffles in this, and its the perfect size for small servings. Just purchased another one to store for when this one kicks the bucket. Google "will it waffle" and find out just how handy this little guy can be!
**FOLLOW UP**

It's been a year now, and I've been using both of these nearly every day, and they are both going strong. I cook sausage and eggs in one, and waffles in the other. I bought a THIRD to put in storage as a backup. Can't even express how much I love these.

Great Maker for the Money
by Me (5 out of 5 stars)
July 28, 2018

Perfect size waffles for me. I would recommend using less batter so there's no overflow. 1/4 cup will make a perfect (a bit undersized) waffle but no spillage. 4-1/2 minutes is perfect time to cook them

Great little waffle stick maker

Great little waffle stick maker. Just received it today and already putting it to good use. :) My kiddos and I made about 60 sticks for lunch today and they turned out GREAT :) Fluffy, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I used oil on it so they wouldnt stick. I noticed if i didnt get the oil sprayed over the whole thing, the waffles would stick a tad bit. The only thing I didnt like, is that when the lid is open, it doesnt have a lock or anything to hold it open, so if bumped it will fall forward. It almost got my hand so you have to be careful when putting the batter in. I wouldnt recommend letting a young child help with this as it could be a safety issue. Other than that, its a wonderful little waffle maker, perfect to make breakfast or a quick snack. :)

don't waste your money
by maggie (1 out of 5 stars)

first off, there was no measuring scoop as listed in the manual, so I didn't know how much batter to use. The batter for the apple cinnamon waffles turned out like glue, so after thinning it out the batter still only made 2 of 4 rows of waffles. And if I added more batter, it just poured out the sides and front of the waffle maker. Extremely disappointed in product

My toddlers think I'm awesome. This stepped my breakfast game up incredibly well.

Update: It broke and no longer heats after 6 uses. Super bummed.

I, too, was fearful of the bad reviews, but thought that, for the price, it would be a good risk to take. And I'm so glad I did! This is a super cute unit, we made gluten free waffle sticks. Just watch how much batter you put in it, and time it to about 4 minutes. It wipes down cleanly as long as you spray it with oil.

Not the best for Chaffles.
by Jennifer W. (4 out of 5 stars)
September 9, 2019

There is chaffle craze in the Keto community right now and my sister and I thought this would be great to experiment with recipes in.

Not so much!!

I'm sure it's awesome for regular waffles, but then sections are a little too deep for chaffles to turn out right.

Stick to the Dash Mini for chaffles, my keto friends.

I LOVE IT!! GET ONE!!
by Marlene Wong Lane (5 out of 5 stars)

It's small and easy to use. I immediately tested it by making 3 sets of waffles, timed them differently to see how long it takes to make the perfect waffles for my husband and me. They all turned out perfect and edible, golden brown (how I like them) to dark brown (how my husband likes them). Not one time did the waffles stick. So easy to remove with a fork. Easy to wipe clean. And the perfect size for an apartment size kitchen. I highly recommend this gem.
