Gave it as a gift, but I didn't realize it wasn't glass. It is a very thick plastic, but it still looks nice for the price. It looks like it will be quite nifty. I will say that it came in the actual box (not a box inside of an Amazon box or plastic package)... Luckily, it was a gift, but not for anyone in my household. It was not very discrete packaging.

This worked great for putting out tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa. My only comment would be that it is quite lightweight, and I did worry a few times about it tipping over as the chip level got lower (although it did not actually tip over).

Not safe for dishwasher. Not safe for microwave. Not safe for freezer. Don't clean with abrasive cleaners. Stains easily? Would I buy again? No.

These are plastic and won't last. For the full price of this you could buy something that'll last more than a year. Within a few months, this item showed scratches that glass wouldn't. Fine cracks appeared in the bottom of the bigger bowl after another month. This is a purchase I wouldn't make again

I love the idea of putting the dip bowl on the top of the bowl. It gives more room on the counter for other appetizers when serving for a party. It is plastic, not glass like I thought it was. Plastic will have to do, as I searched for glass and could not find one. I just like glass as it is dresser than plastic.

I had a little impromptu birthday gathering for my granddaughter. Served nachos, salsa & guacamole. This set is acrylic - so it must be hand washed. You *really* have to push down hard to attach the serving cups onto the bowl rim or they will come off when someone scoops their chip. The main bowl is large enough, but the two side bowls are quite small and don't hold very much.....this is due to the plastic that comes up in the middle to fasten onto the main bowl. I had to put the guacamole in a separate dish because there wasn't enough room for it.
