If I yank my headphones out of my ears one more time while doing burpees...or gesturing wildly at a car that doesn't heed the pedestrian right of way at a crosswalk...I'm going to Rumpelstiltskin them to smithereens!... [Read more]

Reminds me of a skipping CD player
by Richard (2 out of 5 stars)

I LOVE how small and light these are. They curl up and easily fit in your pocket. That's about it for the good points.

I'm not an audio expert and I don't care for much bass. These are downright tinny sounding. However, I'm willing to overlook that because they're wireless.

They will not stay on my left ear for more than a minute while walking. Never had this issue with my other neckband headphones.

Here's the worst part:

Walking in the woods... ( I was not running, jogging, or sweating. It was 75º, dry and clear)
1)Fully charged iPhone 5s and Swage headphones.
1)Nothing on me but a drivers license, car and house key, five dollars, my phone, and headphones.
2)Phone in left front or back shorts pocket: Get sound about 3 out of every 10 seconds.
3)Phone in right front shorts pocket: Breaks up every step.
4)Phone in right back pocket: sound is consistent.... until I turn my head about 20º to the left or look down... sound cuts out.

If you always look straight ahead or to the right, you'll hear sound. This is unacceptable for ANY headphone, IMO. I have a pair of SoundBot BT headphones that do not suffer from any of these problems... but they're heavier, bulkier, and look goofy used outdoors.

If you wear your phone on a strap on your right bicep you should be fine. It shouldn't be a requirement to use these outside.

Good Sound - Not So Comfortable
by D. Lester (3 out of 5 stars)
July 12, 2014

My decision to purchase these was based on the high number of excellent reviews. The sound quality is much better than I was expecting and it paired easily with my phone. I do not find them as comfortable as most reviewers seemed to think they were. In particular I cannot seem to find a way to get them to stay on my head without rubbing uncomfortably on my ear. They start out without this discomfort, but within half an hour I start to notice how it is feeling. If I adjust them so they aren't being uncomfortable, then they don't stay in place.

I still use them, but I will eventually find another set to try as the comfort problems will ultimately drive me away from them for workout uses. They will probably get thrown in the car and be put on for phone calls as needed so I don't have to wear them for longer periods of time.

Good Ergonomics, audio breakup issues
by RickT (4 out of 5 stars)

The design of this headphone is excellent. It's very comfortable and frees me of constantly tangling a cord when I'm out and about, working in the yard and such. The quality is fine for listening to books and podcasts; I can't comment on music quality. The one significant problem I have is audio break-up when I have my cell phone in one of my pockets and I'm moving around, feeding horses etc. This is not a cell phone issue as I have a bluetooth headset mounted on my bicycle helmet and my phone works flawlessly whether in a fanny pack or rack-mounted trunk regardless of the road condition. It's a shame, but I may have to return this item.

Update: I'm going to keep the unit and I've raised the rating to four stars. Did some interweb research and bluetooth can have issues with connections through the human body. I like the headset enough to keep the unit and work around this issue. The problem, even in the same pocket, is only intermittent and if I were listening to music I might not even notice, audio books are a different matter. I frequent use a fanny pack when working and I believe the unit will be fine in that location.

Disappointed
by Alvaro M. Reyes (2 out of 5 stars)

I ve been testing a lot of bluetooth headphones and I can say this in particularly disappointed me a lot, after reading a lot of 5 star reviews I decided to get this ones , I've tried active 2, j labs and other, yes they are comfortable but what happened to the bass ? I can only hear high and mids no lows at all, sadly I am right now in South America and can't return the headphones back.

Edit : More I use them , more I hate them, iphone earbuds sound way better than this headphones, sincerely , I don't like to give unfair reviews but this time I have to, they are not worth 50 Usd except the weight and comfort .

I was able to sync the headphones fine with my IPhone
by WildVince22 (1 out of 5 stars)

When the product came, I was able to sync the headphones fine with my IPhone, but the signal was not strong and kept going in and out as I moved either the phone or the headphones regardless of distance. I contacted the manufacturer directly whereupon they agreed to ship me a new product and a return label. I waited a week, but the manufacturer did not send them as promised. I ordered a new set via Amazon after returning the original. When I didnt receive the 2nd order after a week, I checked the status on Amazon and it listed the headphones as not being shipped without explanation. I think that is just about as much I can tolerate, approximately 3 weeks after originally ordered. I will try a competitor's product.

Very good Bluetooth headphones
by JmL (4 out of 5 stars)
July 2, 2014

The headphones basically pair themselves. Although the instructions mention entering a code, this was not necessary with either my ipad or Samsung S3 phone. The control buttons are easy to operate even though they are quite small. Within an hour I was easily raising and lowering the volume while they were on. They can reach high volume levels but the clarity is good but not great. The phones fit snug against the ears, making them slightly uncomfortable after extended wear but certainly not a deal killer. I would recommend them.

not an easy connect, but...

was about to return these but vendor was patiently persistent in assisting me - problem was 'devise' was not readily 'discovered' by Iphone or pad - suggest watching youtube tutorial, but don't expect the process to go as smoothly. BUT....Now that I've achieved 'connection' the initial sound quality is very good. We'll see about durability, finally satisfied after some frustration - thx

Well made! Very impressed with the sound and the fit great. Most headphones do not fit me well cause I my head is kind of small. These fit great and stay in place when running, which to me is very important. I would recommend to anyone, great headphone that I bought a pair for my wife and my daughter.

Uncomfortable and marginal sound quality
by Dave B (2 out of 5 stars)
September 18, 2014

Audio quality is okay, but starts sounding strained at a volume high enough for me to listen to a TV show over the sound of a treadmill. And they're not very comfortable. I find myself adjusting them 20 times every time I use them. I always feel like they're sliding down / falling off. Partially because they are.

No good for running
by Michael Griffin (2 out of 5 stars)

Only ran about ½ mile with them and could not use any more. The single would bounce in and out as I ran and they moved on my ears. They did sound decent and I give them to my boy.

After trying out several top of the line headphones, these worked best for me hands-down
by Andrey (5 out of 5 stars)
June 26, 2014

I don't typically write reviews, so this is a rare occasion.

These are light and have very good quality of the sound. They hold steady when I move around the gym or run. They feel sturdy enough. They are very small - fit in my pocket easily. They are "street style" in a sense that you can control volume and hear pretty well what happens around you. Lot of competition headphones served as ear-plugs and even when no music was on at all I had hard time hearing anything when walking on the street. Didn't experience any fatigue wearing them while working. Totally recommending and buying another set for my father.

The only con that I noticed was the microphone seemed not as great as people complained about hearing me well when I used it for a phone call. But that is a non-issue for me personally.
