Like the attractive party plus one you never had

Have you ever been to a party with a super attractive person and everyone comments and stares and asks how you managed to find someone so beautiful and fun? Me neither. So I bought this.
First, the superficial: it's great to look at. The lights are impressive and fun and with the free app you can do a million different things with it. They fill up a room like Donna Summer is about to walk in. As a matter of fact, my husband now uses this for no reason to just play random music and random times, and make our lives one big disco. This might be grounds for divorce, but hey, he's having fun I guess. It's not light, but with the attached handle, just wheel it like your darting through LaGuardia and you'll be fine.

The function: The bluetooth works great, paired easily, and sounds awesome. It has an aux port for those who love cords. The sound is amazing. We setup the bluetooth, played a random song from Spotify and listened: A Charlie Manson song. Spotify randomly chose a Charlie Manson song. A little unnerving but somehow it sounded good. When we put on less creepy songs, it sounded even better.

The only negative I could think of is that it only has one microphone port and who likes to karaoke alone? If you are standing in your living room, alone with disco lights and one karaoke mic, your life has taken a sad turn. But hey, you have a few bucks and another friend right? So buy a splitter. Problem solved.

In our party circle, we are the DJ people. Hey, get your disco speaker and come on over. I don't know how this happened. However, people stop, stare, ask where I got it, ask how they can get $500 to buy one, and I say you don't have to. Just get it here on Amazon for an amazing price.

We LOVE this speaker!

Bought it for our outdoor wedding this August but couldn't wait and have already used it a lot since we received it in April (on the boat, in our house, in the yard)! My fiance loves showing off the lights and everybody gets a kick out of them. (First thing I learned: make sure not be to standing over it looking down when you first turn the lights on. They are VERY bright if you look directly at them and I momentarily blinded myself.)

It comes with the microphone and the microphone has it's own volume knob that is separate from the master volume knob. Max volume is VERY loud, enough that everyone will be able to hear it at our outdoor wedding

Lights have various settings - off, random, and to the beat of the music. If you download the Party Rocker app you can control the lights with your phone - choose which colors you want on/off, strobe them, slow down/speed up, and also the normal settings you can control on the speaker itself. (My cat loves chasing laser lights and doesn't know what to do when this thing comes on!) When I first got the app it didn't work right but I deleted and redownloaded and it works fine now.

It comes with a power cord you use to charge it. It seems like it lasts a long time on a full charge and has a meter showing you the power level. We keep it plugged in when we're not using it so I can't say exactly how long but will update once I find out.

It has sturdy handles on each side so you can pick up and carry but also has wheels and an extendable handle so you can roll it around. The extendable handle, to me, seems a little flimsy but my fiance has been pretty rough with it (picks it up by the extended handle and carries it that way) and it has held up so maybe its not as flimsy as it feels. The rest of the speaker feels very solid though, like it's well made. Doesn't feel real light and cheap but not overly heavy either.

Bluetooth is easy to connect. Also easy to disconnect and connect another phone if someone else wants to be DJ.

A friend of mine will be playing my ceremony music on this from her seat via Bluetooth (party lights off) and later will be used for reception music (party lights on!)

Okay, this is a great little speaker. I've literally drug it through the dirt for the past year and the speaker and main electronics still work great. The reason for the 3 star review is that the bluetooth connection stopped working last month, about a year after I purchased the speaker. I Googled for details and it seems this is a widespread issue, with little or nothing to say from the company. The best I've found is "contact your local customer service department." Well, I tried to find a local customer service department online and after a lack of finding one I emailed the company directly. It's been about 3 weeks and my request has gone unanswered.

Aside from that, I'm quite happy with it. It puts out good quality sound for the price, the battery lasts seemingly forever given its sound, and it's easy to drag around with the wheels and suitcase-style handle. So, if you want a great little party speaker and you're willing to risk zero customer support, this speaker is for you.

if I could give zero stars I would, the warranty is 90 days. I seldom used the speaker. One day it simply stopped producing sound. The manufacturer is not helpful. I am completely dissatisfied. I sent an e-mail and received a reply with a list of repair centers, none of which were near my address. How does that help me? Exactly!!!! They do not stand by their product whatsoever.

My daughter also purchased the same speaker and it too stopped working. This is a waste of money.

This thing is awesome - especially for the amazing, reasonable price!!!! It is SO easy to use. Just charge it up (already arrives charged up), turn it on, pair with your device, and play music. The lights are so awesome. It is truly a traveling party in a box haha. The lights extend FAR and can cover a huge room if you wanted it to. It's so easy to bring around, not too heavy, rolls around like a suitcase on wheels, and the sound is great in my opinion. Good bass, nice and loud, and clear. We used it for my daughter's birthday parties and it was a hit. It's one of the coolest things we've ever purchased. I do not necessarily think it's the best machine for karaoke, so if you're thinking of buying it for that reason, just know that you can't add reverb to your voice like you can with a karaoke machine. It's also a little difficult to balance your instrumental track with your voice in the way you easily can with a karaoke machine. But for playing music and making announcements - it is awesome! Highly recommend.

My favorite speaker!

We all love this speaker. With all the components/functions it comes with I couldn't ask for more.

The speaker is loud, comes with a microphone and the very bright and beautiful disco lights comes with an app for light makes it extra fun and easier to control without needing to go to the speaker.

Christmas Eve we had a karaoke night invited a few friends and It was a blast. The kids from 9 months up to 10 years plus all the adult enjoyed every bit of it.

The blue tooth capability is an added advantage to connect to the smart TV while watching movies or listening to music .

Love it. Had it for almost a month now and nothing to complain Abt.

Update: Bluetooth quit working! Hence 2 stars

Go for a different speaker!! Save your money

My friend has this product for years which made me want to buy one. I don't know if I received a defect but mine stopped working within 2 months of seldom use. The lights would go on and off, and the times I got the lights to stay steady it would make the bluetooth quality go down and make the music choppy. The ejecting handle is hard to maneuver, would enjoy a handle that is easy to eject and push back in. Also, there is BARELY any bass, even with my phone on bass boost mode.

I take it everywhere and get the party started, everyone it's amazed with how fun this is, I take it to the park and when it gets dark I turn the lights on under the trees and I've seen people recoding with there cell phone cameras, it really looks beatiful, we even get the karaoke started with the microphone and YouTube, bluetooth connects and disconnects easily. The only thing I don't like it's that we are not able to add more speakers of the same to the same bluetooth connection, so if you are a DJ don't expect to get a club started with this 50 watts speaker, This Is more for a house party, BBQ kind of thing. I love it because it gives me the portability I need with the rechargable battery, with the music very loud and the lights on it will last about 4 to 5 hours without the charger, the music without the lights very loud it had last about 8 to 10 hours, the full volume will make to much noice making the sound quality impossible to enjoy. I hope you find my review useful...

This arrived exactly when I was told it would. The package was in perfect condition. The shipping box is strong and doesn't have a single rip, dent, or tear, and had plenty of bubble pillows. What I received was exactly as pictured, is simple to use and works great! The LED lights have several options including a pre-setup sequence, or one that is synced to the music being played. Both are fun! It's 26 pounds, so the telescopic pull-handle and wheels make it easy to bring places. I'm sure the wheels could wear out eventually, but it'll be years and years since I don't pull it everyday. I've wheeled it into an event and someone that has never heard the word Bluetooth had it blasting out their music from their smart phone within 5 minutes. It's 50 watt and the sound quality of the speaker(s?) is good. Everyone that has seen and heard it loves it and wants one. I have not connected the microphone that comes with it yet, but it looks very nice for general karaoke. It also has an option to connect an electic instrument, but I haven't tried that yet. It's a really great little machine that can make an event a very fun party!

Run do not walk! To buy this product.

I re-did my son's room for his 13th birthday. He is a musician in the making. The theme of his room is totally music, his father even built him a stage and this item sits on the stage. My son went to a rock camp and at the end of camp all the kids performed, he specifically performed a song by David Bowie. I used the Bluetooth feature and hooked in with my phone and went to YouTube and played his song through the system with the light show. It was mind blowing!

The sound from the speaker was amazing.

My now 13 year old is hard to be impressed but this brought a smile to his face.

I hate saying this but I cannot believe the price it seems like it would cost much more.

I love it so much that even though I dislike sitting and typing I just had to.

Amazing!
