I've only used It twice so far. A nectarine 1st day (tasted like cocunt, weird but good) & lemons today. Infused very well both times & is tasty, I've refilled it 3 times today and it's still lemony (many more weee breaks but that's a good thing). I'm loving it! I read most of the low star rated reviews and haven't experienced any of those or any other problems with mine. I feel the construction is good & sturdy. I like the mouth spout, lid and everything else about it. Good size too. Not too big & not to small. Haven't tried it with hot water yet, looking fwd to green tea & lemon. You can place in dishwasher, but they recommend hand washing. I just added a few drops of soap & hot tap water & shook & rinsed (no leaking!) and felt its clean enough. Once filled with water & fruit & closed you can shake & hold upside down with no leaking! Yes, the bottle does 'sweat' if really cold..not a concern of mine...but maybe for others. Will be getting another one shortly so my roomy has her own, we love it!

Lightweight, colorful and wide tube for additions

I like so many things about this water bottle, but it is not perfect. I like that it is lightweight, colorful and has a wide tube for my additions (i.e. fruit, water and herbs). I don't like that you can't drop the tube in and fill it without having screwed the top on already. This is very messy. While the top snaps on tightly it isn't enough to put in a bag with other items that it won't open after being jostled around. I have another water bottle that is glass and very heavy, but it has a metal piece that goes over the lid to lock into place and I can drop the tube in my water then squeeze my lemon before putting the top on the tube without it falling to the bottom of the bottle.

It took me a bit to figure out that the cap for the infuser can be inverted so you can place the bottom of the infuser inside the cap. This will hold the cap steady so you can add fruit to the infuser. Prior to that realization, I thought I had to hold the infuser (which has a rounded base) with one hand and add fruit with the other.

I can put as many and whatever size fruit or veggies I want. wide mouth also makes it possible to put big ice cubes. Time marks really motivate me to drink more throughout the day. Clean look and so far durable. Dropped it twice but admittedly it was on wood floor and was empty. But leak proof as long as you secure the cap.

Only two downsides are that once the bottle is almost half way empty, no weighted base makes it easy to topple over. Also material looks and feels really flimsy but I guess that's what makes it lighter than other bottles. Wish there was a "click" or "snap" sound so I know the mouth piece cap is securely shut (but minor issue since the cap is leakproof when secure)

This is overall a wonderful product. The plastic is thick and the overall design is simple and easy to use. My one complaint is that it's very hard to get the filter out of the water bottle the first time it's opened. I actually cracked my filter trying to pull it out of the water bottle. But so far, I've had no similar troubles and I've suffered no ill effects from the little crack in the filter.

I bought one for each of my parents and both of them are really enjoying it. My dad in particular enjoys the time suggestions of how much water he should drink.

Good for about 5 months...

This was a good infuser water bottle, but only for about 5 months. The infuser part is made of a pretty light weight plastic, which is prone to crack. Ours cracked, but not in any significant way, so that was fine. After about 4 months of use or so, the water bottle was also prone to leak. As I watched it, water freely flowed through the threads between the bottle and the lid and would drip out onto you.

Finally, after only 5 months of use, the cap's plastic broke so it no longer has a lid :( I'm going to get in touch with the manufacturer because it seems like a water bottle should last more than 5 months. However, while it was working, it was great and we loved the ease of infusing water.

Good bottle for the price

I agree with people who rated this one star that the bottle is cheaply made. It is, but so is its price. I got this on sale for $12. The bottle does what it says- infusing your water. I like the sleek design, and it has less parts than some other infused bottles I had.

Dishwasher is a no no. You will need to hand wash it, and I mean handwash, don't even use those sponges or it will get scratches.

I would definitely not pay full price for this bottle.

Little tips: for fruits that are easy to brown like apple, i actually put them inside the bottle under the tube (see picture) to make sure the are always covered in water. If you want to use the tube, cut fruits to small pieces so they can float easily inside the tube, i like lots of fruit in my bottle and if i stuff all the way to the top of tube, i will always have to make sure bottle is full of water

Got a lot of compliments ever since I invested in this water bottle infuser. A lot of people told me thought the water was iced and amazed that you can use fruits to flavor your water up. I walk a lot like about 7 miles on an average day. Before, I had an issue with drinking water because I drank because I knew I had to, but it didn't motivate me to drink it when I was at home, work or school. By adding some flavor like cucumbers, citrus, and some blueberries & mint leaves; I encouraged myself to drink more. It's easy to clean. Some people may find it tedious. The overall looks wicked awesome (I get a lot of comments on that). Then it's both BPA-free and I've dropped a few times, made some minor scratches but it didn't leak.

Bought 2 of these, one yellow and one orange. So far the yellow screws on well and no leaks. Easy to put the fruit basket in and close the lid. Making cherry/lemon water for my first time. Holds a good amount of fruit vs water. I think I'll eat the fruit when I've drank the water. Love the cherry color against the yellow. Orange is for my lemon/lime water. Want to try cucumber with the lemon/lime combo also. Never made fruit waters so this is new to me. Cut the cherries in half so more fruit hits the water. On my list is cantaloupe, watermelon, cucumber, peaches, will be keeping my eyes open for new fruits.

I would purchase these again. Easy to use, easy to clean. My docs are getting on me to drink more water (kidney stones at a young age/female) so until they find out what is causing them, I'm to drink tons of water every day but I'm not a fluid kind of person. My guess is dehydration is the cause. We'll see. I hope this will get my fluid intake up.

If these hold up, without leaking, don't discolor, etc...I'll raise my stars to 5.
