Seriously awesome gloves
by Smitty (5 out of 5 stars)
June 18, 2016

I love these gloves! I had a pair of Oakley gloves that I picked up and took through pre-deployment training (military). They ripped on day one. I was pissed because they were $80 and supposed to be awesome. I had these in my bag and slipped them on. They took a beating and had no issues with tears or rips.

The padding on the palms was a life saver as well as the padding on the knuckles. No, they aren't carbon fiber but they protected my hands through multiple buildings, rocks, and getting in and out of tactical vehicles. The little "grippers" on the index finger wore off pretty quickly but we did a lot of shooting and I didn't really expect it to stick around.

I picked up a second pair before shipping out just in case these wore out. The first pair made it all the way through the deployment and now I have a second set I can keep in my truck. Awesome gloves!

Counterfeit?
by 1CreativeFlair (1 out of 5 stars)

I believe these are counterfeit. After opening the package I only used these to pick up some small twigs in my yard. A couple of minutes later I noticed that there were several snags in the softer fabric. I don't think quality gloves would unravel that easily. Then I took a closer look at the product label and saw that it was blurry. It was like someone had scanned the original and then reprinted it. Now I am not sure what to do. To get my money back it looks like I need to ship them back to China and wait for the seller to receive them. If the seller, SuLiHuiShi, is a counterfeiter, I don't have high hopes of getting my money back. Anyone have ideas of what I should do, or how to prove if they are counterfeit or not?

Gross
by Unicorn Rage (1 out of 5 stars)

These things reek like they were skunk sprayed. It's bad, like, really bad. I washed them 4 times, and they still stink.

When washing them in the sink, the water turns yellow consistently....gross. After drying , I laid them on top of a book for about a day - the book cover now smells like skunk.

Amazon was kind enough to replace then with a diff color (gray), and they do not smell.

Nice gloves, run a bit BIG, go with a smaller size in my opinon
by Just a dude reviewing stuff (4 out of 5 stars)

I ordered Xtra Large being 6'1" tall that usually fits my needs. However each finger had an extra ⅛ to ¼ inch in the tips of the fingers. The build quality is superb and I would buy again for the price. The loop to pull the gloves on is sewn in and very sturdy, I feel that these could last a long time with light duty use. I would not recommend these for someone working with corse materials like concrete since they just don't have the type of thick leather. These are more for shooting guns, and working around the house or in the garage. Just consider getting a pair maybe a size smaller than you usually would.

Good protection and comfortable. Wear out pretty quick!

I've had many different pairs of Mechanix Wear M-Pact gloves in the past. This is the first time I've bought the Multi-Cam style, I like the camo pattern... I've used Mechanix Wear M-Pact gloves for a lot of physical work, cutting wood, fence work, construction, automotive work, digging holes and so on.. I like these gloves, they are comfortable to wear right off the bat. They provide good protection and padding for your hands. I don't have very large hands and the medium size gives me a good snug fit. I don't like wearing gloves that are to big and are awkward to work in. The only downside I have run in to is they wear out pretty quick. Maybe it's because of the work I do and needing to wear gloves about every day at work? If you only use them on the weekend or a couple times a week then they will possibly last a bit longer? Worthwhile having for sure.

Quality Set of Gloves!
by Nathan D. (5 out of 5 stars)
April 18, 2018

I have had these for about 2 and a half years and have used them for hunting, shooting, working on my cars, and even yard work. I have a hunting trip coming up this weekend, and I intend to use them during that. They are still in excellent condition and still fit great. Too often you get gloves that stretch out. These have stretched VERY minimally. The pattern looks great with the rest of my gear, and the hook and loop closure still stays tight and doesn't come undone.

Now, for anyone thinking that these are great gloves for shooting with, please understand that as far as gloves go, they are pretty good. The trigger and thumb fingers have a little slitting in them that enhances the feel, so they are pretty good. Do not take this as saying that it is better than your bare finger; there's no such thing. You cannot replicate best trigger and switch feel with a glove. However, the padding on the palms, and the gripping, along with having a good trigger feel do make these excellent for extended use situations. They do offer a good enough feel and they very much cut down on hand fatigue when manipulating a heavy or long weapon system for longer periods of time.

Being able to wash these in the washing machine is a really nice touch as well. Keeps them clean, and if you dry them flat, they tighten up pretty nicely.

If and when these finally wear out, I fully intend to buy another set to replace them. You definitely get what you pay for. Quality gloves.

Best gloves yet!

A year later and I'm still using the same gloves. I've used them on everything for bushcraft chores to camping to working on the truck. They protect from everything. When these finally give out I will be buying some more!

What is that smell???
by Jeremy Johnson (1 out of 5 stars)
September 7, 2018

I'll tell you what that smell is........it's the stinky rubber on the knuckles of these gloves. Opened up the package and was punched in the face by the overwhelming smell of stinky rubber. I'm not talking about the manly smell of a fresh set of 33" mud tires. This rubber compound sticks. I tried washing them with some other camo clothing with scent killer detergent and these things made my clothes smell horrible (maybe my fault, but it still happened). I was hoping to wear these for early season hunting in the mountains but I don't think I can stand the smell of them. Pretty sure any animal within a mile radius would smell them too. If you're planning to use these for hunting, I'd steer clear.

FRAUD - Cheap Chinese bootleg

FRAUD - CHEAP VINYL CHINESE BOOTLEG - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

These are NOT Mechanix Wear gloves. Heck, "Mechanix" is mispelled two different ways and IMPACT is spelled MPACT.

Horrid build. You could easily pull the fingers right off.

Returned for refund.

Too Thick Fingers
by Paul Cassel (3 out of 5 stars)
August 18, 2019

I sometimes borrow my sister's S&W M&P Sheild for some range recreation. Yes, I know this sound backward but keep in mind that my sister is fierce.

The good news is that the palm area works well. The padding does cut down on perceived recoil at least for lighter cartridges up to, say, 45 ACP. The problem is in the finger areas. The thickness of the leather here is the same as the palm which meant that I had to work to get my finger in the trigger guard - a dangerous practice. Once in there, the glove bunched up some causing me to now have the start of a blister on my index or trigger finger from only a few rounds.

In addition, the thick leather on the thumb area made it impossible for me to release the magazine since I couldn't feel the button.

If these gloves had thin leather for the finger/thumb area with the current palms, they'd be five stars running away. However, for me and here, I doubt I'll be using them again. YMMV.
