the user interface and operations of this camera are so awful and non-intuitive I can't believe they have actually sold any of these. instead of using bluetooth to connect to the camera, you actually have to connect to its wifi (which doesn't in turn connect to the internet). you can't (at least easily) download the pics/videos to your phone.

I purchased this when the price dropped below $250 but now I know why the price has been dropping. my only hope is that they redo the phone app from scratch to make it worth using.

use it for Real Estate tours and it works pretty great. Definitely a lot higher quality than most ..

Definitely a fan of this camera, use it for Real Estate tours and it works pretty great. Definitely a lot higher quality than most affordable cameras on the market. It has great panoramic views, but doesn't give you a "full 360 view" that I was expecting at first.

Mediocre results. Distorts the size/shape more than it should. Also has poor range view. The demo shows thing 30-50 yards away fairly clearly. It reality, things tha far away look like they are 1/4 inch tall.

it is not a conferencing device (can't even connect via popular apps)! it is very difficult to pair, and the battery will fall out if you attach the cable (very BAD design!)

for being useless device, the price exorbitantly high!

I just got mine and may update it as I get used to it.

Out of the box it's pretty straightforward, lots of little parts though and the instructions aren't clear.

Update: Thanks to the comment on this review, I learned how to open the bottom. It's not intuitive, and it's still kind of a pain to open, but you can open it.

Seems the only way you can view the 360 videos for now, is on the phone, while your phone is connected to camera. It would be great if you could save the video to your iphone, but you can't, not yet it seems.

So for now it's fun, but not practical. Maybe when youtube provides 360 support. (when you save the video to your hard drive you can show the split top/bottom video that is processed but not the 360 degree).

the video quality is adequate.

UPDATE: after a few weeks of using, here's my take:
1) there's no off/on button on the thing. not crazy about that. the remote has a power on/off button but it's not intuitive and I forget the process. like you have to hold it and double click it - sometimes it doesn't turn off and drains the battery, while I thought I had it turned off. It's also one more thing I have to charge and maintain - the remote. wish I could just hit a button on the thing.
2) too app dependent. I really don't want to pull out my phone in the water or wherever I am using it .
3) no youtube support yet. they have it for 2-3 other cameras but not yet for this one (as of 4/20/15). I downloaded the youtube 360 converter but it doesn't support these videos. So unless you are looking at the videos on the desktop app or smartphone app, you really don't have the benefit of sharing he videos in an interactive manner.
