Does the Job and Made Well. (IMO)by TK_Warrior (5 out of 5 stars)

I just need to attach a bungee cord to it and myself so I can float and stay under the umbrella. I like it a lot because it holds drinks as well as your phone and snacks, etc. I usually keep a wash cloth around to absorb any water that may get into the cup holders. No big deal. I feel it is very well made and would recommend. I use this umbrella/drink holder set up in my enclosure and would purchase again. I am thinking about getting a nice big vase to keep the umbrella in when not in use.

I feel very stupid since I'm not sure what a "7 Foot" canopy means. I thought it meant I would have a 7 foot umbrella, not one that measures 69 inches from point to point.
I would have never bought this kid's toy.
This is not the seller's fault. It is whoever manufactured it. The seller was great and with very quick shipping. My comment has no reflection on the seller, only the product.
Great idea, not great execution

Great concept but not an excellent execution.
1. The umbrella itself is the cheap kind with a weak friction lock to set the height. I've owned a couple of these before in the cheap beach umbrellas you can get from the grocery stores near the beach. The plastic friction locks get weak and break in a season or two.
2. The round design of the drink bouy wasn't well thought out. It fits EXACTLY into the opening of your pool's surface skimmer, blocking the water flow, causing your pump to suffocate.
We were excited about the concept until we heard the pool pump choking and we looked around to find the bouy lodged in the skimmer hole.
Every time we free it and push it across the pool, it eventually finds it's way back.
So, unless you add some sort of anchor to the bouy, plan on having to keep a watch on it.
Missing weight

Not sure if this umbrella is any good or not. It arrived without the weight. There was a spot in the box for it be, but the weight was not there. This was a Father's Day present. My husband was so excited to set it up and use it for our planned day to spend in the pool. That went out the window real fast. We just had to put right back in the box and talk about how cool it would have been to use. My advice if this is a gift is to go ahead and open it before hand to make sure it is complete or be prepared for big disappointment. We have to send this one back. A replacement is being sent, but we cannot get this day back.

I hesitated to buy this item. I don't take sun anymore and have a giant offset umbrella around my pool for sunny times and a few market umbrellas to boot so I can keep the pool shady. However, in my hot tub there isn't room to plant an offset umbrella nearby and moving a market umbrella around is a pain. I bought this and now I can sit anywhere in the hot tub and have shade. I can even put my ipad on the base and surf Amazon.com while I relax in the tub. The base sort of leaked at first so my husband used some hucky-puck to seal it but all in all I LOVE this purchase.
