Cooked my shrimp quick and easy. Like the easy to use design. The pan was delivered quickly and we seasoned it as suggested on the shipping box. Since this was the first time using the pan I learned a few things to do differently, like making sure the pan was warmed to the 350 mark and to make sure that my marinate was applied quickly and properly so in my case the barbecue did not lose the heat needed to quickly cook the shrimp. Cooking in an oven would be easier to control the temps.

I've only used it once, but it was a smashing success. marinated the shrimp briefly with a bit of olive oil and some herbs, and then used this pan on the grill. My only complaint about the pan is that once it is hot on the grill, it's hard to pick up. The seller shipped this to me very fast and I have no complaints what so ever. I would buy from this seller again.

I'm terrible with cast iron, despite my love for cooking with it. That being said, this product holds up.

Works best to heat for at least 10 minutes before greasing. I prefer bacon fat and lime to butter and lemon, but each their own!

Nice gadget for cooking shrimp

This is a nice device for cooking and presenting shrimp. I have had difficulty in getting it to brown the shrimp, as the juices from the shrimp fill the cavities. Nonetheless, you get uniformly cooked shrimp that is tasty and does not need to be turned. Pre-heating is essential. Probably the biggest negative is that it is a bit of a pain to clean. You have to use a brush to get the cavities clean.

Use is fine...but looks like it is painted with some heat resistant paint...after using on grill, cooling and washing, left on butcher block table to dry...left paint imprint that required hard sanding to remove...paint and lacquer thinner didn't work...worried if painted inside it comes off on food?!
