Take the sensors off before going through a car wash

Product works pretty much as advertised. However, I failed to remove the sensors before the car went through a car wash and the brushes caught one of the sensors and broke the stem and car sensor. That car wash cost me $130 not including the cost of a replacement FOBO sensor. Recommendation, take the sensors off before letting the car go through a car wash or take it to a hand wash place. The other problem is that I am still trying to find a replacement FOBO sensor. It seems that Amazon only sells complete sets and the FOBO CS folks have not responded to my inquiry.

A little inaccurate, takes too long to synch to phone

After 3 weeks of use, I find this to be a little inaccurate +/-1psi up to +/-5psi (I've done it manually to compare). It also takes way too long for me to see data on my phone for all 4 sensors 2-5 minutes when parked and up to 30 minutes when in movement (I've timed it). Also, when I have the app open, readings will come and go and it is hard to get all 4 readings at once (maybe I'm missing something for not reading the manual?). For the price paid, one would expect more from it.

Nice although it have a tendency to not give an accurate reading even after I have made all of the adjustments, making certain that the exact equal pressure have been placed in all tires, I'm still getting ill regular readings, and tire temperatures readings from the tires. I've been in contact with the vender(s) on this issue, and the issue still remains which also causes the alarm on the onboard unit to go off continuously while I'm in my van. So I'm giving this product 3 Stars because the vender C/S is next to none, they do follow up, and stay with you on the issue however, for the cost the product I was expecting better. I'll keep on working on this issue because I believe that I will get it to operate as it should...(I'm just stubborn when it comes to a project.) Chances are, that I will buy from this vender again more so because they will work with you as many others will or do not.

I original had a issue with Amazon shipping me the wrong color Fobo Tire Plus, problem came from the warehouse. Since then, I ordered straight from Fobo Tire website with an additional purchase of the Fobo Xtra Sensor for the spare tire. I never really measure the pressure in my tires for many years. Whenever I get my tire rotate at Costco, they add air to the tires. I wanted a TPMS, but most were out of my price range and many didn't have that instant option of letting you know when the pressure is low, until it's too late.

Fobo Tire Plus in the other hand uses Bluetooth from your phone. With the Fobo App, you can see instant pressure from all of your tires. You can also set the MIN, RECOMMENDED & MAX tire pressure. I am surprise that the pressure on my spare tire in the trunk of my 2000 Honda Accord increases pretty rapidly. I guess heat builds up in the trunk faster. So far, I like being able to monitor all of my tires & spare tire with just a click on the Fobo App. If your tire pressure is below or above your MIN & MAX settings, it will give you an alert right away.

For my 2000 Honda Accord, these are the factory recommend tire pressure settings.

Front & Rear = 30 PSI

Spare = 60 PSI

Here are the not so nice things about this. Bluetooth technology only allows the MAX Distance of 30 feet, so you can only monitor it while within that distance. After using it for 2 weeks, I did notice a Battery Low notice on the Front Right Tire Sensor, but it went away. I'm not sure what cause it, but I hope it doesn't come back. If it does I will just replace the battery, but the battery should last 2 yrs.

The company support is a little dodgy

I love the concept of what it do, But one of my gauges won't connect to the app and I change the batteries came and brought a pack of two sensors and still can't get it to work, I have been trying to get a hold of the company which is next to impossible they offer no phone support, and I hate back-and-forth emailing just to get one thing resolved .

Poor customer service and compatibility issues with iphone 10

Although product worked great with my older iphone 8 I have had nothing but problems with their app/device on my new Iphone 10. In following instructions from their web site and a youtube link company emailed me the unit fails to connect with my phone's bluetooth. In addition, when seeking out help my answers really didn't address my problem. Instead they asked for a screen shot? Then they sent me a link on basic installation which doesn't address bluetooth syncing issues. Now the product is useless to me. Please investigate other products and do not purchase the fobo.
