Look great - not so functional.

These are more form over function. When a glass sweats it leaks through the wood slats and onto the table. It may save you from a water ring on wood furniture but you will still have water stains just in the shape of the coaster.

Other than that these are pretty cool. I bought them because they looked neat and I needed something for my coffee cup on my desk and insulated tumbler with water I keep on my nightstand. My plan is to buy a cheap mouse pad and cut it to shape underneath each coaster that will absorb any run off and is easily replaceable.

They look cool and work pretty well, and they are something most people seem to think are neat when they see them. Also they make a great gift for somebody who happens to work in distribution/logistics or anything involving palletes!

Brought these to a White Elephant gift exchange and they were a star of the show. Sturdy, attractive, and unique. Maybe a *little* more expensive than I'd like, but what can I say? They loved them.

The functionality it works great for. Im giving it 3 stars because the type of wood these are made from seems like plastic& causes the coaster to slide around the table. Not exactly what i was looking for but will have to do until I buy something else.

Water drips through slates

Cute but water drips through to your table top. They are opened and the wood runs the same way on both sides so nothing to stop the drips.

These Pallet wood drink coasters were originally purchased just for me. But when I saw my friend eyeing it I gave her a couple and she didn't give me a chance to change my mind. They are very cool looking, have a glossy finish and sturdy enough for my oversized mug. They've saved me many stains on my wood table.

Received these adorable coasters today/ Upon opening the package, I discovered that one of the boards on one 'pallet' had been broken by a zip tie used to hold the set of four together. This is why I am giving four stars. The pallets are absolutely adorable and I plan to reorder them once I receive a refund for the damaged set I am returning. They seem to be really well-made; it just appears that the zip tie was pulled too tightly when bundling them together.

These coasters smell wonderful too... like maybe pine? It says 'fiberboard' in the description, but I'm not sure what kind of wood was used. Whatever it is, it smells good.

Pretty much everyone uses coasters to protect their tables and other surfaces, so these would be a great gift for just about anyone (coworkers, bosses, siblings, friends, etc.). Plus, as the description suggests, you could easily place two or more together to create a safe surface for a hot tea kettle or a pot of soup.

I purchased these coasters at a slight discount in exchange for an honest/unbiased review. I base my opinion of this product (as well as every other product I review) on several factors... quality of materials, item description matching the product received, and if I believe the item is worth the full price. Although my item was damaged when received, I don't believe it was due to the quality of materials. Therefore, I'm willing to order another set. I had no problem submitting for a refund, so I do recommend you give this product a try, as it is no trouble to return, should it arrive damaged. I think it is a cute, inexpensive and useful product that anyone could use.

They look cool but doesn't really do the job I got it for which is being a coaster the moister just builds up and falls through the cracks it will stop some but not all
