The Hydra smartbottle is a head turner! Whenever I take it into work, I always get a couple questions thrown my way. The water bottle itself isn't extremely large, it holds 20 oz or 600 ml in the container portion and weighs about 1 pound. When I first received my Hydra smartbottle, I immediately noticed a second cover inside the box. A small hidden chamber to safe keep some valuables. A very considerate perk when I purchased this absolutely great water bottle! The base portion has a 4,000 mah backup battery. Because... It can! Overkill? Sure. But when your cell phone's on the last 5%, it can be a lifesaver. Especially, when you're not near a power source. Also, it lights up illuminating the water inside. Great for night time bike riding and camping. The top portion has a bluetooth speaker attachment. Connect it to your phone, make calls, stream music, work out, all while it cycles through RGB colors. Nifty. The USB power outlets have a rubberized seal to protect it from water seeping in. It is after all a water bottle. Comes with a carabiner and is also BPA free! The hydra smartbottle comes with a lot of great features in a great looking form! I got 2! :)

PROS:
- Good source of light when power goes out
- Encourages you to drink more water
- Speaker sounds good
- Versatility +++

CONS
- Package came defective, not assembled correctly
- Cheap plastic ring broke on both purchases

Suggestions: fix the cheap plastic ring, it breaks easily and you damage your water bottle. Fix loose fit for Bluetooth speaker cap.

Everything you need in one

This bottle has everything you could possibly want or need in one. It is great for hanging out with friends or even for work. Not only do you always have a drink, and a place to charge your phone, but you can also play music and have led lighting perfect for parties, camping, and everyday life. The speaker is actually really nice quality. Far nicer than I was expecting. It is very loud and clear and balances the music well. The only thing I don't like is that I personally find the voice for the speaker to be annoying. I do appreciate the battery indicator though.

Great bottle

Recently took it with me to the snow and took a hard fall with the bottle attached to the front of my backpack while snowboarding. I stood up and checked it out, it was perfectly fine. The speaker is great. I like that everything is detachable. I don't recommend taking it to the snow but I did and it got wet a bit and knocked around, but it is still in great shape! I highly recommend this bottle. The 4000 mah charging pack is able to charge my iPhone 5 from 0-100% up to 3 times. Really great, portable, and very compact.

It does what it claim to do, the speaker is pretty loud, FM radio is a little bit harder to use, there can't be too much customization as expected but everything works perfectly as advertise. There are negative points you will see after you get it some of them are that it is a bit clunky, there are no instructions on it for some reason so you have to look up all of the function"‹ online.
