This is our largest system, with two level for plants and two waterfalls, a striking display of nature in action.

The system will be delivered to you with a acrylic system tank, plant grow pots and special grow media, tank gravel, natural water dechlorinator, and water pump with built-in filter.

I've held off leaving a review until I've had this operating for a while. It's easy to buy an aquqponics system that looks good for a week or so, but something that is sustainable for the long term is another story. This is not really a classical aquaponics system, but anyone familiar with aquaponics knows that. And anyone who claims any system of this size captures the complete operation of true aquaponics is being disingenuous. True aquaponics is a large scale process, with hundreds or thousands of gallons of water and very large crop grow areas. And A LOT of work. What this system is, is a beautiful model of what aquaponics is and what aquaponics can do. I added Fin to Flower's grow lights to my system, and the results have been nothing short of incredible. My plants basically grow too fast. The water and fish tank stays very clean on its own, but of course if needs some intervention because of its small scale. I change some water weekly, and I've cleaned the pump and filter every few weeks, but that's really it. Am I going to feed my family with the fish and food I'm raising? Absolutely not, but this is without a doubt the best looking, easiest aquarium I've every owned.

Leaks water

We started to like it but after about 8 months we noticed that it started leaking water. We made several attempts to reseal; however, we can not seem to stop the leak. It looks nice, but I wouldn't buy it for a long term investment. Update: So I reached out to the vendor to find out how to address the leak problem. They were very responsive to the issue I was having. They told me that they were going to send off a replacement and let me try to beta test a prototype item that might help with general water evaporation...stay tuned. I will let everyone know how it works out....

Nice system, shipped fast and complete. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Running nicely, waterfall is nice, fish and plants look good. Good to see a few things are still made in the USA.

I've only had this tank a week but I really like it so far. I bought it as an upgrade to the Back to the roots system  Back to the Roots Water Garden . I found the lid annoying, wanted a slightly bigger tank and this one was perfect. It is also more ascetically pleasing as the pump and heater (not included) are contained in the tower and not visible. There is ample space for the cords to exit the tower as well, unlike the Roots system. Plants seem to be growing well. I transferred a few from the Roots system as the grow baskets are the same size, and grew the reset from seed. In my pic you can see the optional grow lights and some tank decorations (all purchased separately). The amount of gravel shown in the pic is the amount included with the tank. Their pre and post sale customer service has also been great. My only critique is that if you don't position the vertical pump pipe perfectly, it will vibrate against the tower opening and make some noise. I decided to use the fill tube from the Roots system as it is rubber and fit the included pump perfectly. With that, there is no chance for it to make a vibration noise. If you want a great aquaponics system, this is the one to get. The only consideration is whether you can deal with an open top tank.

This is a great aquaponics product. I rec'd it in 4 days in very good packaging. The packaging method was spray foam, so everything was locked into place. The "C" system unit was per spec from my order. I followed the direction on how to set it up and that was done in less than an hour. I started by adding 3 herbs and 3 ivy plants for my first grow cycle. I washed all of the gravel and grow media in a strainer which worked great. I liked the white color as it looks so clean. Put in the 5 gallons and a drop of de-klor and set up the pump. I added a thermometer and 50w heater as I wanted 78f degree temp, as I will put fancy guppies in later and a small catfish. Since I do not have a good light source I also added a 75w grow bulb from my old plant stand on a timer, however the LEDs are less expensive to run. My wife is already asking when she can have some of the herbs. Also the system came with good doc. read on the nitrification cycle to understand how it should work.
