The shield mug looks like a textured bas-relief stimulation from the pictures but it's in reality just a flat graphic with no dimension. It arrived with the box bend which wasn't a big deal since I planned to take it out to put candy in it prior to giving it as a gift. The mug itself arrived free of chips and cracks but the "Zelda" logo on the back is printed slightly crooked and hard to read since it's a dark crimson on a dark background. It's decent but may be awkward to actually drink from on account of the shield's pointed top. It's more a collector piece than functional.

It's a good mug.
I bought this due to an inspiration from a coworker's Super Mario Pipe mug. "ah that's frikkin cool", get's on amazon and searches for Zelda Mug.
The finish and aesthetics are incredible. I'll post pictures when I get to work on Tuesday, I leave it there. The shield stands out. I wouldn't recommend drinking from the side of the shield, that's more of the show-off portion of the mug and boy does it get complimented. You'll receive compliments as such as "Love your mug.", "Sweet Mug", "Noice!", and "That the hylian shield?!". Why yes, yes it is.
Pros:
1. Aesthetically pleasing.
2. Easy to clean.
3. Frickin Legend of Zelda Hylian shield mug.
4. Overall acceptable and a decent sized ceramic coffee mug.
Cons:
1. Odd shape. It's like a sideways oval with the top of the oval flat. The flat part is on the shield side. So when it's filled half way or more with Deku coffee beans ( Made up, or maybe they do exist?! ;) ) and about a 30 yard walk, with stairs, to my desk from the coffee machine at work, and it will splish and splash like no tomorrow. So you have to walk a little slow. It's the shape of the mug. Not a big con, but it does happen.
I won't ever get rid of it. It's my daily driver. It doesn't stain either, I've left it at work without washing it, and after a wash it comes out good as new. Hand wash of course, don't you dare put this in a dishwasher.
When I received it I didn't want to take it out of the box... it's so pretty, but these aren't limited production so it's coffeed everyday. Had it for about 5 months now, no huge complaints other than the one con listed above. I'd buy it again.
Get a Zelda Shield shaped mug because why not

This will certainly start a conversation. I mean seriously, look at this. The mug itself feels great. The Zelda shield decal looks slightly off as far at it being properly aligned with the cup. But nothing too serious.
BTW if you are a lefty I don't know if this is for you, that would mean drinking from the pointy side and that's just not going to happen.

Gift for a coworker she loved it. She is a big big big Zelda fan and she loves coffee. I am not a Zelda fan or coffee fan so I don't appreciate it as much, but she honestly loved it so that made me happy. The cup came packaged perfectly no damage done. If there was something else in the future that I needed and this seller had it I would purchase from them again. If you are a Zelda fan or you have a friend who is this is a good gift but only if they drink coffee or tea 😁.

My boyfriend loved this. He's a Zelda fan and it's easy finding stuff for me ( Bioshock and Fallout) finding good and detailed oriented stuff for him is hard. I'd give this a higher rating if i could. Sturdy, easy to clean, looks good, and is good at insulating your coffee.
Cute for what it is. Not as functional as I thought.

Cute little mug. Unless you are left handed, the shield will hit you in the face when you drink out of it. But it is a good think of you gift for that Zelda fan. It also cannot be washed in the dishwasher. Which now a days seems silly not to be able to do.

My box was a little torn up, almost made it appear as if it wasn't new. I know it happens, and it's for my young son so not a big deal for me. But the mug itself was great. Brand new, looks like the picture, good quality.

i would advise anyone purchasing this product to take a look at the decal and be sure it doesnt have a defect. i got mine over a month ago and just now saw the ... damage? im sure i didnt do it because i took it out of the box and put it right on my desk.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He absolutely loves it! The only issue I had with it was that on the handle there was a bump from the glaze that was sharp. It poked my hand when I held it, but I took a nail file to that little bump and you don't even notice anymore. My boyfriend had no idea when I gave it to him. We're very happy with the mug overall.

I use this mug all the time. I only hand wash it so that the paint/design doesn't flake/peel. Only complaints are that the box looked like it had been run over by a car, so gifting would have been nearly impossible, and the fact that part of the paint/design was already bubbling in one small place.
