Beautiful Toy - I recently taught myself how to solve my daughter's standard Rubiks cube, and I bought this for her for her birthday (for me to solve too :) It is amazing...I was a little intimidated, but it solves exactly the same way. But it really challenges your brain, because as you work through the algorithms, you are paying attention to the 3-dimensional size and shape of each piece instead of the color combos. Super fun! Also, this Rubiks cube has a very nice, smooth easy movement, and the gold stickers are high quality and very lovely. I highly recommend this to any Rubiks enthusiast.

Now I get iffy if I see a lot of 5 star reviews because a lot of items are "too good to be true" but wow, straight out of the box, this cube turns better than any Rubik's cube I've lubricated and loosened. Alright, now be warned, the random assortment of shapes CAN make it difficult to turn at times because they get caught, so don't expect to speed cube straight off the bat, but my god, this cube is incredible. I've been hooked on it ever since I opened it and have hated to put it

Down. Incredible puzzle, and i (as well as all my friends) are shocked it cost less than 5 dollars. It is well worth the money several times over. If you are even THINKING about getting this, DO IT. It's $5 and you won't regret it.

Extremely unique take on a classic puzzle

This is a very unique take on the original Rubik's Cube. You can solve it like a normal cube as even though some of the faces are different sizes, the core center piece is off center making some of the faces jut out when twisted. Hard to explain but once you turn it a few times it is clear that it works exactly like the original Rubik's Cube, it just uses different sized faces instead of colors. I'm not 100% sure but I think some combinations may appear solved when they would not be if this were a standard 6 color cube.

The packaging is a small printed box with mostly Chinese writing on it and very little English. Not a big deal but may through off some people. The cube is wrapped in clear plastic wrap and is slightly oily when first removed. This oil is from internal lubrication that helps the cube turn easily. Once it is wiped off I doubt much more would seep out.

Buttery Smooth Cube with an Executive Look!

As a cuber, I first saw this and figured it was more of a novelty/collector's cube that would sit on my desk and not get played with, but would look cool and be a conversation piece. It actually turns out to be a very smooth functioning cube. It turns just as smoothly if not smoother than my regular Shengshou 3x3, and the gold metallic stickers look pretty boss sitting in my office at work. The one cool thing about this is that the metallic stickers have a sort of "grain" to them, like wood. So if you want an extra challenge, you can solve it like a super cube and try to orient the centers to match the adjacent edge pieces. Piece identification is pretty tricky at first, and my first solve took me a good 6 or 7 minutes, but once you do it a few times you pick up a few tricks for how to identify certain edges/corners and you can get pretty quick with it.

This is a really fun cube. It looks very scary when it is scrambled, but it actually solves using the same algorithms as a 3x3 cube. Very nice cube to get after you master the 3x3. This is a high quality cube and very durable. The stickers have shown no signs of coming off yet.

I love this gadget because it appeals to the older as well as the younger minds! It's fun to have on long car trips as well as it plays a huge part in occupying the hands and mind for extended periods of time! The look is sleek and the material is cheap making it worth the cost. But cheaper material doesn't mean bad. Just means that I don't feel bad if I have to buy this again in case the outside gets scuffed up!

Great challenging puzzle!

I just got this in the mail yesterday and I can already say I love this. Out of the box, you know you're in for a run when handling this puzzle. When mixed up, the puzzle seems as though it came from another world. Seems impossible, but once you get it down, is actually quite easy/fun.

Right out of the box the cube turns great, but requires all of the pieces to be perfectly aligned to turn. The pieces are sturdy and do not pop out. I have been using this all day continuously and have accidentally dropped in many times. I can say with a safe bet that it is a very sturdy "cube."

Definatley grabs attention with it's unique shape. Works smoothly and had held up very well. It also allows my son to solve with his eyes closed, a cool trick to show friends but more importanly it's become a tool he now uses to clear his mind and relax when stressed. We bought another just to keep in his wrestling bag to use before matches.

I gave this to my niece and not only does she love it, but her mom wants one in silver to use as home decor. When my niece first mixed it up, she love thought it looked like some kind of ultra modern, sci-fi apartmenr complex and thought it was so beautiful that she didn't mind if she never solved it. It's nice to look at and it's such an interesting puzzle. The whole family tried to mess with it and nearly two weeks later, she has spent hours and hours just attempting to match up one row and can't do it. I will definitely order the silver one for her mom as a birthday gift!
