You get what you pay for - so much better than my blender bottles!

I was pleasantly surprised when my PROMIXX arrived. It advertises the "smoothest supplement shakes on the planet" which is a bold claim but I can safely say it does a much better job than my blender bottles. What surprised me most is that my shakes actually tasted better - I guess there is more flavor when it's actually mixed fully.

Some other benefits I was surprised to see:
1. Looks and feels like a quality product. Right off the bat you can see you get what you pay for. Nice and sturdy.
2. Very easy to clean. This is a nice feature. I like to put water and detergent in, turn it on and let it clean itself. Then, I remove the base and rinse as to not get the base part wet.

Cons:

Not too much to mention here - though the storage pod they supply could be a little larger for some of my shakes. Just a thought.

I was so thrilled to receive my promixx 2.0 mixer, but opened the box to find the motor piece looking like it was manufactured wrong and poorly.

I reached out to their customer service email that promixx provides with their products, 3x and have not had a response in regards to a replacement nor refund. I've been patient but he's been a couple weeks now, going on three. This is ridiculous, and a waste of money if they aren't even willing to own up and make it right.

It's a no brainer, if your into fitness than drinking your protein it's a must I'm a tech guy and this adds to my long list of tech toys I recommend it.

It's a portable blender, hello.

It's great and it has a container for the second dose of protein after my workout it always mixes my protein perfectly.

But it, it's a game changer

Stop spinning after 10 days

The beginning was great and I loved it so much that I even want to buy anothers. But after 10 days of used, the spinner start to stop and spin. And now it's not spinning anymore. I thought it's the charger but I charged it the whole night and it's still not working. Disappointed

Unable to Turn Off Motor Unit

To give a fair review, I'll start with the positive of this product.

Positive:
1) Really functional product for your everyday needs in my workouts/job schedule.
2) The materials and design of the cup are very good [sturdiness, seals to avoid liquids leaks, very neat design, marks for liquid levels accurate, etc.]
3) Super easy to recharge motor unit.
4) Super easy to use right out of the box.
5) I love it after first use.
6) Is very stylish and a lot of people asked me about the shaker [I recommended to a lot of my friends and colleagues].
7) It mixed my whey protein isolate without any hassle and extremely fast!
8) It came in a cool box [It feels like a new smartphone box] that makes the product suitable for a nice gift to a friend or family!

Negative:
1) I bought the product on September 11, 2018 and the motor unit became useless by October 15, 2018. Basically like other buyers pointed out in other reviews, the on/off button on the motor unit got stuck and I was unable to turn off the motor unit!!! I thought that the other people just drop off the motor unit on the floor and that was the reason for that. I was wrong!!! I have this unit in my work office [lock up with my own keys] all the time because I do my workouts in my work own gym, Meaning that right after my workouts I just go to my office to drink my protein shake! This motor unit never drop on the floor or got flooded with water. Because this product look so stylish and also looks expensive (actually it is!) I treated like a new smartphone!!! :-)

So that folks is my reasoning to give this product one star (it deserves ZERO Stars!).

First 25 days....had some issues.....

So I received the Promixx 2.0 and it seemed like this was going to be a great idea for my pre and post workout drinks to blend on the go..........

The first issue arose about 10 days after purchase when I put the top on the mixing bottle one of the plastic edges cracked and fell apart. This caused the bottle to not be sealed properly when the blender was on causing liquid to come out the top because now the seal was broken. Now the mixing bottle does come with a second top so I just replaced the broken one with the second one which fixed the issue but I was disappointed that I now had one useless lid.

The second issue came about 15 days after the top issue. This was with the motor that can be attached and detached on the bottom. So the motor at about 25 days into having the bottle began to start turning on and off randomly, basically malfunctioning. There were days I would use it and then come back after my workout and the motor was on even though I know I pressed the button to turn it off. I even did a test to see if it would happen again, I turned the motor off and then a few minutes later it turned back on on it's own and it was at this point I couldn't turn it off even by pressing the button. The motor literally ran out of battery before it turned off again.

I did make an attempt to to contact customer service about the issues through email knowing that the product had a one year warranty but did not receive a response until 4 business days later. Lucy the customer service rep seemed sincere in her email attempting to make things better, but since it took a bit for a response and I was still within 30days of purchase I told her that I had already made a return to amazon before I received her email. I haven't received any further responses from them.

Looking at this product the idea is awesome and makes things really convenient especially when your on the go. I really wanted this to workout (no pun intended). Maybe I just got a bad egg, and maybe I just might attempt to get another one to try it out again. I was just upset that this company seems to stand behind the product and the initial reviews before mine seemed great, but the product I received was a dud. For now I'm giving the product 2 stars.

Buyer beware! Motor is defective!

I rarely, if ever, write reviews on Amazon, but I just had to warn people about this product. I bought one a few months ago and loved it. I love how it mixes your protein shake for you without having to shake the container. So convenient! The design looks modern and cool. When it was working, I loved it. However, about a couple weeks in, the motor started to turn on all on its own. It would scare me half to death because out of nowhere, for no apparent reason, it would just turn on in the kitchen and I'd suddenly hear a loud buzzing. I thought, ok, maybe the button is stuck... but despite my best efforts, I could not figure out how to fix it. So, I wrote the company using the email they provide, since the product was still under warranty. Weeks go by and I hear nothing. So I thought, whatever... I'll just buy another one and if they end up getting back to me and replace the motor, I can either try to return it or just give it to a friend. So, I get the second Promixx... I ordered it on Dec 8, 2018. It is now Dec 27, 2018, and the new motor started to do the same thing! Just turn on all on its own and now won't turn off. I have to let it run out the battery just to get it to stop. It's maddening. I have now bought 2 of these... both malfunctioned the exact same way, within a matter of weeks, and I have yet to hear from their customer service. I won't be buying another one and I just wanted to warn people who were thinking of doing the same. Reading through the other reviews, it seems to be a very common problem with this product. Wish I had listened! :(

Awesome! Everything tastes better using it

Amazing! This thing saves me so much time in the morning and I'll explain why. I have a lot of vitamin deficiency due to not having a stomach, no stomach at all... straight esophagus to intestines. So I was told that using probiotics and prebiotics may help me absorb the vitamins easier/better. So the prebiotics taste better using protein shakes, and I need protein anyways. The shakes themselves are pretty easy to mix with a mixer ball, but that prebiotic powder... just doesn't mix at all. So I would take a fork every morning, slowly tap in the power for the span of a minute, while moving the fork back and forth and in a circular motion to try and get it all mixed in. The result usually was far less than to be desired, so I bought this hoping it would improve the mixture.

Not only did this improve the mixture to almost 99% mixed, but the shake actually tastes better. Who knew I wasn't mixing the protein powder enough either! This thing is amazing as the prebiotics are mixed in better, apparently the protein shake is mixed in better, and it takes a fraction of the time of the fork option I was using. This is awesome!

I was a little skeptical on a battery powered mixer... Then I saw this had a rechargeable battery power, which caught my attention. The reviews were mostly positive compared to other mixers, so I gave it a chance. I am VERY IMPRESSED with this mixing bottle. Smart design with the pod to store your mix in the cup. Only takes a couple hours to charge. You can get 2 weeks of daily use, however by the end of the 2nd week its a little weak. So I've been charging every 7 days to make sure the battery is always strong. I blend everything from vitamin powders, protein powder, eggs (I've gone up to 6 eggs no prob). The only time I've seen it struggle is with meal replacement powder. Meal replacement powder is always super dense and is usually a pretty large serving of powder. Its gets the job done, but you can tell its struggling with such a dense powder. However protein powders it does just fine! Just to clarify, its just the heavy/dense meal replacement powders where overtime I feel it might put some wear on the motor. SO, I've stopped putting meal replacement in it, and keep it on me for all the normal powder mixes I use. Also great for making mixed alcoholic drinks, pour a shot, start the motor add the other ingredients, makes it fun! I highly recommend the PROMiXX 2.0!!!!!!!

The best mixer in the world.

This is by far the best way to mix your supps! Pre-workout I load it with water, turn it on and then dump in a BCAA energy powder, some creatine powder, and a Beta-Alanine powder which it has no problem with. (I then drink the mix to take glutamine tabs, Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM/Tumeric tabs and a vitamin). Post-workout I load it with skim milk, turn it on and then dump in protein powder (as much as two scoops) which it turns into a delicious and creamy shake with absolutely no lumps or waste. In the evening I mix skim milk with Casein Protein (which is a VERY thick protein powder) and again it does excellent work! The Promixx 2.0 looks cool, it's easy to clean, and it truly works great- even with 3x a day use the battery usually lasts me a week (it recharges quickly as well). I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to mix powdered supps!

PS I have a gym in my home but the nutripod seems like a great idea for on-the-go- I just don't use it since my Promixx 2.0 never leaves my kitchen
