I purchased a generic metal holder and it rusted in less than two months! The Chihuahua looks so cute and my kids love taking pictures with "Freddie" - yes, they named him! We use it every friday and now I buy one as a gift for each BBQ or friend's party I go to. Four of them I purchased were fine but the last one had a slight defect underneath, you couldn't see it but I have OCD and it bothers me and the seller sent me a replacement immediately.

This was a Christmas gift for my significant other, and I have to say, I'm pretty pissed to see the paint peeling off of this little guy after only TWO washes. No, no, it didn't go in the dishwasher--this was handwashed. The first time was more of a rinse just to knock off any dirt from packaging. The second time was a light sponge washing to remove any oils and fats from carnitas tacos.

And just like that, the eye paint is chipping away, and little details (like the black paint between his toes) are either gone or sliding out of place. And yes, you read that right: the paint is sliding out of place, as if it were a cheap sticker where the adhesive got wet and dried again later.

Very disappointed and wish I could get a refund. Had I known this was such a cheap piece of garbage, I wouldn't have purchased it, especially not as a Christmas gift. If you still decide to buy this, please make sure to seal it in acrylic or something of that sort as the seller was to cheap to do it themselves.

It's cute but...

I liked this taco holder but the problem I have is with using it. For no reason I can fathom the bottom of the taco shell slots are rounded so they are high in the center. This center bump made it very difficult to keep the shells from sliding out when you try to serve the holder or just move it. If you make a nest of shredded lettuce at the bottom of each slot it will work, but should you have to do this?
