Essentially, Forj is a state-of-the-art adhesive material thats sole purpose is to repair anything broken. That includes, but certainly isnt limited to: tools, outdoor sports equipment, home appliances, nautical gear, and even first aid equipment. It does what it says on the tin. I've repaired the door handle inside my van, I've bound the limbs of people who ignore my "no soliciting" sign and ring my bell anyway to their own faces (temporarily, purely as a learning experience), I've used it to bind a couple of broken tent poles that then saved me from a very rainy, wet, miserable night in a Pacific Northwest rainforest. I've used the tin it's packaged in as a table top hockey puck.

a bit hard to manage when getting it wet or heated, however it works as advertised. I would have given it 5 stars, but once I found out that the forj website sells it for $19.99 and free shipping with no minimum. I decided to give it a 4 stars. I mean why do we even bother with this free shipping nonsense, we all know that all they do is jack up the price for the prime items.

I bought this primarily for emergency camping repairs. About a day after it arrived, however, my wife's glasses (which had been heavily taped together) broke. Glad to have a chance to try this out, I cut a couple inches of tape, grabbed a lighter, and gave it a try. It worked great! It was very easy to use, and her glasses are sturdier than they ever were taping them back together. Great stuff, very easy to use!

Durability Test in Progress

I've only just applied it to the framing over the front windshield's rubber seal that covers the frame with tree sap caused rusting. Never park a vehicle under a tree thinking it's safe.

I'll repost at the end of the summer and let everyone know how well it has held up under the direct sunlight, for I feel that will be a true test of durability.

I know I've got high hopes.

I'll post again August 31, 2019.

Found this by accident. Didn't realize such a product existed. Fixed old solar fountain fixture I was ready to trash. Found it somewhat difficult to work with - tape split, and some adhesive clung to fingers - but I assume I'd get better with follow-on efforts. Note that I used a heat gun and not hot water. Maybe not water makes things easier. Still, provided for a sturdy fix to items that were ready to separate.

A new tool to solve problems with

I first saw this at a SAMPE trade show and brought some samples home and tried to figure out a use for it. I broke a part off a dh bike fork and finally find a reason to order. This stuff is strong and gives you some cool solutions to different problems. Waiting to find more uses and optimistic about having this new cool tidbit in my toolbox.

This is for emergency situations but I did cut a small section off and used it on stick to see how it worked. Impressed. Will be getting second one to put in truck kit. Will get it from this seller.

The ribbon should be weaved length wise and cross wise. The stickiness value is not remarkable. But it's for emergency purpose not permanence. I'd give it a C+.
