Hands Down the Best!

I have been shaving my head for the last 18 years. I have tried just about every well reviewed clipper and electric razor, including most recently the Wahl Professional 5-Star Balding Clipper #8110 and Remington HC 4250. In my opinion this is hands down the best electric head razor if you are looking for a bald or close shave. It's comfortable, and the cordless, light weight design makes the Pitbull Gold extremely user friendly.

Great shave with little effort!

I've been a blade shaver for years. I couldn't wait to get my new Pit Bull Gold and try it out! As soon as it arrived, I opened the box, took the shaver out and turned it on. First, it was charged to 100%! It was a great shave in little more than 5 or 6 minutes! I'm quite sure once I get the hang of it, I'll cut that time down!

I really loved this product. Worked great for 3 months...then literally just died. No help from manufacturer for replacement or anything so pretty disappointed. Guess I need to go back to using a blade.

I purchased this gift for my boyfriend for Christmas and it wasn't even two months until it started to act up. It doesn't even charge at all anymore. Waste of money and there is no option to have it replaced.

So far so good, shipping got delayed a bit and a few false promises from the amazon folk but product is great so far!

Have had my first shave with it and had about a week worth of hair, shaved it excellently did take a bit to get use to but have a feeling once I get use to it and continue to keep my hair this short, I see it being an amazing accessory! Very happy with the purchase

No knicks or cuts

Worked well, lost most of my hair so I have been buzzing for over a year. I dont like to shave so this is a good alternative, took me about 10 min to do my whole head. Recommend if you dont want to use a razor.

Worth every penny

I was a little skeptical after seeing a few reviews about how bad the shave and battery life was, but I've had nothing but a wonderful experience.

The shave is definitely not a razored, down to skin, smooth shave. But it only leaves a very short, very fine stubble. The kind you definitely have to shave every day. Thankfully, this makes shaving everyday a blast. It only takes 10-15 minutes once you get good at it, it's incredibly comfortable in the hand and on the head, and it's looks almost as good as a razored head which takes much more time. You can shave wet or dry, both work well but I prefer dry because it takes less time. It even says you can shave in the shower, which I have not done because I don't know just how "waterproof" the thing really is, but I get get it wet every time I clean it and have never had a problem. Cleaning is also not bad, just place the head in water and run it for a bit, but it's definitely not a perfect clean. You cannot take the heads apart according to warranty, but I have a few times to get a better clean, and haven't had one break. The heads also last quite some time, I'd say a good 2-3 months you can definitely use the same head, but I would suggest replacing it around that 2 month mark. The battery life is actually extraordinarily good in my opinion, I get a week or more between charges, and the thing charges in about 2 hours. I'd say that's pretty dang good. The extra head for face shaving I can't recommend, as it irritates my face to no end, but I also face a lot of irritation on my face with a traditional razor so if you've got a sensitive face like me, I wouldn't bother as the shave isn't all that great anyways.

Overall, I'd say this product is well worth what I paid, and has been a massive help with keeping my head looking clean and sharp everyday.

Gives a nice shave but not close enough, but blade popped off while putting on attachment, too many hassles in cleaning 5 blade. Forget it, going back to simple manual razor!

Worth the money!

This shaver paid for itself in less than a month. Its easy to use, gives a clean shave and easy to clean. My biggest issue was that the 5 blade shaver head broke last week and I contacted Pit Bull through their web site and have not had a reply back yet. After more research on my end, it looks like the locking mechanism on the head itself has sheared off. This happened when I took the head off to clean and then replaced it back on to the body (shaver). The main lock point just spins now and will not lock in place. I would recommend being very careful when replacing the head and possibly buy a spare head if you use it daily.

Fragile

When this thing works, it's AMAZING. However after a week the blade sort of 'clicked' into the device and couldn't be removed. Then I dropped the shaver and the blade shattered beyond repair. Which wouldn't be a big deal if I could get the blade out--but the broken blade is stuck in the device.

When it worked, it was amazing. However, I replaced it with a similar device with far better construction and half the price.
