Love everything about this --until I saw that there's the little cutter tool mounted on the exterior of the assemblage. Running my finger along the edge and yes, that blade is sharp and capable ...of possibly cutting up my gear or my backpack itself when packed. In other words when this is stowed that cutting tool is protruding enough that I'm not convinced that it won't do damage.
Ok, maybe I don't bring the cutter tool with me? Well, based on what I can see you need all three items to "stack" in order for the item to assemble as one unit. From what I can tell if you leave one item out then the items have to remain separate. To be fair I didn't test this because I left everything packaged as I knew that I would return it.
If you're car camping or want to throw this in your cooler box while fishing or something like that then it's probably quite good. But I want to pack it in for some deep woods hiking and I can't risk throwing an exposed sharp object in my pack. Nor do I want to babysit it and make sure it's wrapped in a cloth or something.

Gerber once again has released another great product. This has everything you need for camping, hiking, traveling, etc. The utensil themselves are very flexible and sturdy maintaining their shape and structure easily. In Gerbers instructional video they show the tong set up being used to move asparagus. You can see how clumsily he does it even though it doesn't work for that, it's more for salads, pastas or large pouch meals. That configuration is very usable for many other things as well. They just work. The fork has just enough space to grab and hold various types of food. The curved spoon is perfect for eating solids and soups. The silicone edge in the scraper makes it easy to empty out the pot when serving portions and a small cutting edge on the other side is very useful for breaking up foods within your cooking/heating receptacle. The only thing that really needs to be addressed which was mentioned in a previous review is the sharp edge of the can opener. This is a ridiculous small inconvenience. This issue can be mitigated simply by adding a ranger band to cover that area. Not only does this mitigate the issue of the sharp edge contacting anything else but it ensures that utensil stay together if they get dislodged in your pack or whatever else you're carrying them in. Most people who take a utensil like this would modify it to their style. Also I find people don't buy equipment and throw it into their gear without figuring out how it plays a role in the overall structure of their packs. Adding a ranger band is a quick way to solve all your problems with this amazing product.
This does everything I need and more!

First off, I have owned every Spork, camping utensil there is finally I have something useful, thoughtfully designed and lightweight.
My favorite part of this tool is the ability to convert it into tongs. I use them ALL the time when cooking any meat. I flip Spam, turn hot dogs and grab everything else.
I use the Spatula to make scrambled eggs and scrape the bottom of the pan.
It has enough length to dip into a Mountain house and Freezer bag.
I like that it has a can opener and bottle opener.
It's cool that it has a peeler but I don't think I will ever use that.
This goes with me everywhere. I even take it to work with me.
Tip: Stack the pieces together then slide them onto the Spatula from the rear with a pulling action, don't try to push it into place from the front. It's much easier to put together that way.
Sooooooo Close to Perfect

As others have said, the can opener on the multi tool has enough side to side wobble/clearance to tear up stuff if left unguarded.
If the spatula handle was molded with just a little more plastic (maybe the 1/8 tab by 1" long where the rib already exists) to extend the bottom up to fully capture the spoon, fork, and multitool, ALL issues would be eliminated.
That said, fantastic product even though I will have to use a broccoli band, ranger band, or hook-and-loop strap to guard it (unless I just want to round off and eliminate the can opener functionality altogether).
Good Idea, VERY POOR Engineering/Manufacturing

This set whould have a been great but the so called pealer DOES NOT WORK. The pealing part is designed completely flat that the flatness does not and cannot 'dig' into the vegetable you wish to peal. The 2 stars is for the other items, spoon fork and it's stand.
This is a good concept but very POOR manufacturing execution. I decided to not return these as am not in the USA. ALSO; the anodised 'coating' scratches very easily. I will NOT buy one again. It's not worth the high price it currently sells for.
Very useful camp tool. Don't have to carry tongs anymore.

Excellent tool for camp cooking. Have seen other reviews about the potato peeler being sharp and that it can damage your backpack if you let it float around loose. I found that if you go to an auto parts store and buy some split wire loom and put it around the whole tool, no more problems.
Beautifully designed and manufactured

A lot of thought was put into the camp cooking tool. Head and shoulders above the "spork". Bought two of them so that my wife and I don't have to share. While we are car campers, I believe that this would be an ideal utensil for back packers with its multi-use capabilities and light weight.

Great tool kit, not the smallest or the lightest but a great kit to toss in the pack or have in the truck when weight isn't of concern. The tong feature comes in handy more often then not and ended up using the can opener the first time out with it when a pull tab can broke.
Very Handy

I took this camping a few times, and now it has wormed it's way into my backpacking kitchen. Light and sturdy, long enough to reach into backpacking meal bags, and it blew my nephew's mind when I made a set of tongs out of it which worked very well.
Slightly large for daily use

Spoon and spork are great. Spatula isn't really something I use. Easy to carry and clean, but they will scratch over time. Be careful with the peeler/opener, a band or pouch will mitigate some of the cutting issue but be wary if it's sitting loose in your bag. Little larger than I'd like for daily use, but great for camping and bagged food.
