Got this because I couldn't find a clock to make a potatoe clock out of. Teaching a STEM program for my troop so I had to dig up an explanation for how this works. Keeps time great!

Worked really well for a long time on just regular tap water. Our water however caused significant corrosion to the internal plates which rendered the clock inoperable.

Would like it a little more with alarm but love the way it works and the novelty. I have used them for interesting gifts. My grand daughter is using hers in her science class.

Had a previous one, the same model. It worked for almost six years. This one seems to have a few glitches and the timekeeping is erratic.

Cute concept, and it was easy to set up, but it leaked all over my counter-returning it today!
