This cart is wonderful. I need something better than just a hand truck to haul all my items into a craft show. I am attaching photos but when I actually took it to craft fair I managed to put more on & only made one trip. folded it up to smallest & rolled right under one of my tables. Had a lot of attention from other vendors. My husband could not get over the quality for the price.
Every Musician Should Have One - Awesome Cart

This is a great cart. My wife and I play in a band and we got two of these. They were easily assembled and appear to be pretty sturdy. They fold down into about the size of a furniture dolly. It would be cool if the wheels folded down but I doubt that they would be rated for 350 pounds if they did. We have a two JBL Eon One Powered PA Speakers , a 2 X 10 Bass cabinet, Bass head and PA head (we use as a mixer) and with these two carts we can get everything in one trip, if necessary. We usually make a second trip to get small stuff such as tablet holders etc but it is good to know we CAN get it all in one trip if necessary. Even when we can park close to the stage, the carts still save having to get people to help me bring the PA up to the stage as I am able to roll them right up to where I need to go. Before I got the carts, this was usually accomplished by getting a second person and each grabbing a side of the PA speaker and/or bass amp and making several trips from the car to the stage. The carts have been great. As I get older, I can still play but dislike carrying my stuff and these carts are a godsend. They also have a bar on the bottom near the back wheels that make going up and down stairs easier. The cart expands to 39". I would have liked to have had one that was 50" or 60" but they didn't seem to be worth twice the money. At 39" I can get two PA Speakers on a cart and that does the job. Also, at $69 we figured we were better off with two of these than one of the longer carts especially since there are two of us. The $69 price is a steal. You cannot buy a regular dolly for that price. Most players should be able to get their amp, guitar and cord bag on one cart. Get one. You won't regret it. With one of these carts you can take your $5000 worth of equipment and drive $50 miles to make $50 bucks just like a true modern musician. What? I can make $50?
Cart, Deck, & Shelf sold seperately but they are rated as one They should be rated as they are sold

The Cart gets 5 Stars - the Lower Deck shelf gets 5 Stars, The Top shelf gets 1 Star is a great idea but very poorly done. The big selling point of the cart is its portability, once you bolt this shelf on the cart is fixed. There are several simple ways that the top shelf could have been attached where it could be quickly placed on or removed. The way it is designed it is basically a 2 person job to put it on 1 person can do it but not easily. I will most likely return the shelf, There are several ways the shelf could be made easy on easy off to retain the portable feature of the cart. It could be done as simply as inserting a rod thru each handle that the shelf slipped over, there could be stops around each side of the handle that the shelf rested on with a quick release pin. Having to hold it in position, insert and tighten 4 bolts which are then a bit of a pain to remove is not functional. UNLESS you intend to assemble the cart in that one configuration and leave it there then this method is great. That would be fine if you just intend to roll the cart into a trailer or van and have room to store it in that configuration. Read thru the ratings the Cart is almost always rated EXCELLENT- Where raters discuss the top shelf it is most often described a poorly designed. Since the top shelf bolts on and is not easy to take on and off it becomes a ONE POSITION Cart. The bottom deck is easy to take on and off to fold the cart for storage but unless you intend to leave the cart fully assembled with the top shelf mounted. you may want to think twice about purchasing the top shelf. As stated above it would not be difficult to modify the shelf for easy to make it easy on, easy off without loosing any stability. Thus keeping the fully portable status of the cart but it would be even simpler for it to be made that way from the factory

I needed a cart for moving cases of glass ware and totes of tshirts and other similar things. This cart also had to take up the least amount of space possible. The R2 seemed to fit the bill for me. Upon receiving the cart, I took it out of the box and put it together. The instructions were seriously lacking, but it was a common sense thing to setup.
My first impressions of the cart was "flimsy thin wall square tube". After I had used it a couple times, and adjusting the length of it, I now have added "worthless powder coating" to the list of things I don't like. It is all but scraped off one of the tubes already! It hasn't failed to move any load I've requested of it, so far, but it definitely doesn't have a solid feel to it. Using it as a two wheeled hand truck, the tube acting as a foot plate moves around far too much in its locks/slots in the frame. Definitely need to use bungee straps with this thing, otherwise the simple act of moving it may make your load shift and become unstable.
When it is setup in a 4 wheel transport truck mode, it is very handy. I have decided to keep my plastic totes on it when it's not being used for moving large orders to/from my vehicle. I can move it around quite easily, thanks to the wheels. They are the prefect durometer for multiple surfaces.
All in all, it's a decent little cart. If the price were lower, I would have been happier. It's the quality you would expect to find at a Harbor Freight store or the like, not worth what I paid for it. Luckily it appears to be easily modifiable, so there's that going for it.

Purchased the R2RT thinking it was a different model. First impression was that it looked cheap. Smallest wheels out of all of them, the stickers and grip tape started falling out within the first two uses. and when putting a considerable amount of weight the sides felt as though they would bend. HOWEVER, they never did, and I have to say that over the course of one year this became my FAVORITE cart. I have a couple of modified dollys, and a portable hand truck which I've used for practically everything. This cart however, replaced them both. I DJ and do IT / cabling work. I've used the cart to carry 8 boxes of 1000 ' of Ethernet cable, toolbags and power tools, and up to three routers in their original box without a problem (yes on the R2RT)... I also DJ from time to time still, I carry a large Pioneer controller with a heavy flight case, two 15" Yamaha DXR's, speaker stands, cable bags, large laptop/dj backpack, Mics, and keyboard stand without a problem. Felt a bit heavy to pull on rug initially, until you get the cart rolling. Even with the small wheels I was able to easily get in and around places. I do have to admit that going over large tile spaces was not as easy as smooth floor, or getting in and out of elevators was a bit of a workout if you went in too slow. However, I was impressed that it can carry this consistently 4-5 times a week for a year without any major catastrophic damage. I have used it to help friends move, I've used it to help in my wife's business without a problem...until it got stolen in some fancy building..ANYWAY Im purchasing another one, but looking for a larger one with larger wheels. I recommend the R2RT for everyday use. I felt confident moving 200-300 lbs if you placed the weight or the items in the right way, however it was not easy to move the heavier it got. Looking for a larger one now because of it, but to move small furniture, large multiple boxes, chest freezer, it can handle it. You carry Tools and equipment, the R2RT is plenty, cheap lil sucker that worked like a workhorse. Make sure you assemble it correctly and take care of it, if so I don't see why it wouldn't last for years....
Works well but could use some improvements.

This is a really nice little cart for the price. Build quality could be better, but it works as is. I use it haul heavy rubbermaid bins, and this makes my job a lot easier. I used to have to carry them one-by-one, but now I can save myself time by only making two trips.
Pros:
- Folds and stores easily in a small car.
- Folds open easily and quickly.
- You have lots of options for sizing when you set it up.
- It's light, but strong.
- The wheels are strong and roll smooth.
- Hauls a lot of heavy stuff.
Cons:
- The black powder coating is a joke, and started scraping off from the moment I put it together. So, I'm sure this will rust if I get it wet.
- The "skis" underneath the back wheels would be better if they had a plastic covering, because the powder coating scrapes off when going up stairs or doorways, and scrapes up my customer's concrete and brick, since it's metal-on-concrete.
Bottom line:
- This makes my life easy, and it's a great investment for the price.
Small but carries a big load

Out of the box the R2 Micro appeared to be too small for some of my bulky production equipment. But when I put it to work it way out performed my initial expectations. The R2 holds heaps more gear than I expected. It does not replace the need for larger rock n rollers. I do not use the Micro to move trunk-size pelican cases and c-stands. It will hold the weight but the narrow platform could be a stability issue. Also the Micro has 6" wheels which are a tad small for unpaved and uneven surfaces. I needed a cart that was easy to carry and easy to stow for travelling. The R2 Micro is super convenient and way outperforms expectations.
Somethings to know

I've owned a few of these carts. They work great. The first one I recieved this time had three issues. The cables that open up the sided were super hard to open. One wheel didn't roll free. There was a piece of metal in the axle obstructing it from rolling free. The tape on the rails was coming off already before I took it out of the box.
I recieved a replacement from Amazon with as usual great customer service and the second one outside of the tape coming off again was perfect. Just like it should be. Easy to pull the cables to open and close the sides and there was no obstruction of the wheel turning free. Great cart. Just be aware of these issues. They must of had a bad run in manufactering. I'd buy it again though.
Too hard to raise or fold the handles

There is no "release" involved for the handles, just brute strength. Maybe I got a dud that's off center or something, but seriously the mechanism seems crude. You have to pull the cable hard enough to squeeze both metal bars together so they will fit past the stops. I can only do it by standing it on end so I can put my foot on it and then pushing down on the cable while keeping an eye on the stop/catches and trying to get the sides to equally clear. I need it for a gig in 2 days so I'm keeping it. Otherwise I would return it. I'm just going to leave one side up when I load it - I don't want to struggle when I get to the gig. Also the assembly instructions are not at all helpful.
Great Lightweight Cart

This is such a handy little cart. I bought it to help move tables and totes for craft shows. It saved me a million trips. It folds and unfolds easily. I love that it's lightweight enough to be easy to handle when not in use. The attached pic doesn't look very impressive but it has 2 6ft tables, a 4ft table, a solid wood checkout stand plus totes that are heavy. That's 5 trips for me combined in one easy to roll trip. Haven't used it as a dolly, not sure it'd maneuver well due to the wheel size but as a cart, it's perfect. It rolls very easily on pavement and concrete. We rolled it across uneven yard once. Wasn't wildly stable but it handled better than I thought it would. All in all I would recommend it.
