I just had to write a review for this product. It has given me hours of joy and enjoyment. It's simple and does exactly what you need it to do perfectly. Sure, you can have great karaoke parties with this thing, but the best part is being able to get up and sing a couple songs whenever it strikes your fancy. I just search for '

Great design but the sound is not good. Anyway it's good for the price! It would be perfect if I changed the speakers! Still love it!

This is really the best purchase we have made in a long time as far as choosing a gift for our daughter. She loves to sing, always has, so we wanted to give her a way she can do what she loves. She had no idea she was getting this for her birthday, as she had asked for other gifts. We purchased this with 2 microphones. The item came in great packaging and was in perfect shape. It was very easy to set up, as two 11 year olds literally set up the entire microphone and stand, and had their ipads and android phones connected within minutes. This microphone is very user friendly, and is the the gift that keeps on giving. Even the adults in the house have had some fun singing karaoke with the sing stand.
Works great so far - here are some tips for users

Works great so far. Some tips:
1. Some karaoke apps listen to you sing through the phone or tablet's microphone. This can cause bad feedback on the Singstand (a humming or whistling sound). To fix it, turn off listening in your app, or use an app or video stream that doesn't listen through the device. You don't need it anyway since you have the machine.
2. There's a master volume for the mixed sound and volume buttons for each mic. To get the right mix you have to adjust both. Get the music at the right volume and then make sure the mics are keeping up, and adjust both as necessary. Also, you might need to adjust the phone or tablet's volume.
3. That little clear rubber strap in the package is for holding a tablet to the stand. The angle is steep, so it's a nice thing to use.
Perfect for our group

Our group of adults and kids (15 to 7) had so much fun on New Years Eve belting out songs we found on youtube with this karaoke machine and two microphones (I bought an extra). It was really simple to set up and the stand with the clear tie back to hold the ipad was just perfect. The quality of the youtube video dictated how loud the music coming out of the speaker was. Some videos were great and some were barely audible but that's not the fault of the machine. We sang all night! Now I have to bring this to all of the parties! It was inexpensive compared to the more professional systems but what I liked best was being able to get the music from youtube or prime or any source that had the lyrics. That's maximum flexibility!
We're having a blast!

This thing is AWESOME!!!! I'm glad we bought two microphones! It's turned into impromptu family karaoke on several occasions already. Since everyone who comes over has a smart phone, first we get them connected to the wifi. Then, everyone finds a YouTube karaoke song to sing. When it's your turn to sing, the last person disconnects their phone from the machine and you connect yours (via bluetooth). It's easy to do whether you have an iphone or an android device. There are so many YouTube karaoke channels that you can really find any song you dream up. You'll probably want to save favorites to your YouTube account so you can go back to the good versions of the karaoke songs you love and sing them again.
Good product, Great support by MemorexCE Support

The Memorex Sing Stand was purchased for our granddaughter and she loves it. Technically the Sing Stand works very well. It easily connected to an MP3 player and the vocal remover does a very reasonable job of turning any song into a "karaoke" song.
There was only one problem with the package and it was easily and quickly remedied by MemorexCE Support. One microphone had a defective cable that caused intermittent connection to the system. HOWEVER, an email to MemorexCE Support resulted in them sending another microphone. GREAT service!
If our granddaughter's enjoyment is any indication, we think most children that like to perform would like the Memorex Sing Stand, maybe even some adults.
Fun for the family.

We've had a ton of fun with this. It syncs easily with BT devices and there's plenty of free karaoke material out there on sites like Youtube. Our one complaint is that the phone/tablet holder is pretty small and doesn't work well with most of our devices so we're constantly futzing with how to get the device to stand in a place where we can see it.
They love it! However

"Santa" brought this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter and my 8 year old son. They love it! However, it's not quite as good as I had hoped. The Bluetooth has a lot of static. The volume control is very hard to set, as each different song carries a different volume. Some very high, some way too low. Vocals work well, as long as the mic is close enough to touch your mouth. You can't hold it farther than an inch or two away, or it does not project your voice through the speaker.
I guess I was expecting something closer to a professional system without being a professional system, if you understand what I mean. I may look into getting different mics and maybe plugging this in to my guitar amp and see how that works. Haven't tried the guitar jack yet either.
Convenient and works very well -- I wish the stand went lower...

Fun microphones. I bought this as a gift for my 4 year old who loves to sing. It is a hit so far and she uses it daily. Generally it works well and goes quite loud. The ease of the speaker being one with the microphone is why we selected this over other microphones... We do get screechy feedback when she goes close to the speaker and it is on loud. FYI, this stand is also not great for the very young. My daughter is just under 4 ft and this is too tall for her to use the stand... (It is adjustable upwards only...) Still, I think this is a nice set even for a young child as it is much better than the junk-y plastic karaoke systems marketed to kids... I think we'll have this and enjoy it for many years.
Dummy Proof Set Up. So Easy!

I received this and the set up was quick and easy. This product is so dummy proof it should be marketed as such. The sound quality is pretty good and the volume at the highest setting is pretty loud without being "tinny". I have not used a media device hooked up to the unit (I chromecast youtube karaoke videos from my tablet to my tv), so if you have the same capabilities, I'd suggest doing that so everyone in the room can read/sing along with you, plus it makes the sound seem more "surround". I bought an extra mic, ($10 either here on amazon or at target) and it hooked up easily and still delivered great sound quality. This was a great buy and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to put together karaoke party.

I had followed the singstand original and read the few negatives about it, being volume control and a few others. I found the SingStand 2 online, but couldn't find a single review. My daughter had been wanting a microphone system of some sort for a long time now. I went ahead and ordered the SingStand 2 from Amazon for her 11th birthday. We put it together in minutes (without instructions), hooked up the ipod touch, and got to singing! She absolutley loves it. It's made pretty sturdy, the volume controls allow you to to adjust the music and mic volumes separately. There is a feature that allows you to basically mute the vocal track on regular songs so you can be the lead. Although we haven't tried it, you can plug in a second mic, or a numerous other input sources, such as a guitar. It also worked fine with my Kindle Fire. All you need is a youtube capable device, and this is a great karaoke machine.
Easy starter solution for street performance
by Lydia Lundgren (4 out of 5 stars)

Was looking for a sleek karaoke system with decent sound below $250. I think it would be hard to beat this at the price. Easy to put together, lightweight, looks great, does the job. Be careful of the difference between the Singstand 2 and Singstand 3, the description above was copied and pasted from the 3 and while it had a jack for 2 microphones, it only includes one, while the description says it comes with two. When I pointed out the discrepancy the company apologized and sent me a second microphone, so all's well. Oddly they haven't corrected the description though. Here are the reasons I didn't give it 5 stars: 1. the stand feels a little bit wobbly and the unit can only be picked up near the base, or it will come apart. If you don't move it often, you'll be fine, but as I purchased this for street performance and ease of carrying, the fact that I can't just grab it at the level my hand falls is a minor irritant, and I fear it wouldn't survive getting bumped or falling over. 2 the other issue I have is that the speakers point backward towards the singer, on the same side as all the controls. Again, I guess this makes sense in a home karaoke setting when you are your own audience, but for busking purposes I have to choose whether to turn both the speakers and the controls away from me, or turn toward me and hope enough sound still travels ambiently to my audience. These last two things are not really criticisms, more comments: The sound quality is not amazing, but it's not so bad that I'm offended as a musician, no major distortion or buzzing, I can still use it. Just a reminder that if you want pro-quality sound you have to be willing to pay pro-level prices. Last comment: the SingStand 3 boasted a Bluetooth connection for audio. I didn't think that would matter, and the SingStand 3 was not available anyway, but now that I understand the tangle of wires between two mics and the audio in, especially if I want to plug my guitar in on top of all that (which I will, eventually) I would gladly pay more to have as much of it wireless as possible. All in all though, it meets the needs of a beginning busker...now if only there were a version with a rechargeable battery so I didn't have to go door to door asking businesses if I can plug into their exterior outlet...
WORTH IT !!

Our daughter is 10 and we bought this for birthday. She places her IPAD in the holder, plugs item iPad in and goes to YouTube for music. Type in Karoake video in Youtube to get lyrics and songs. She and her friends love it. We bought extra microphone which also plugs in. You can turn down the "voices" so that the music dominates and not the original singers. We had the singing machine (pink one) and it required cd's which were horrible. This is 100 times better then that and we recommend it highly!
Only 1 Mic and the sound buzzes noticeably.

I can't say I hate it, it's $60, but the description was incorrect and the unit makes a buzzing sound over the audio. Thought I might be able to output the sound to my stereo, but there's no audio out. The description says it comes with 2 microphones. I got the whole thing together then went, "Wait, where's the other microphone". Check my screenshot for details. I tried multiple media sources for the karaoke videos, webpages and Youtube, and multiple groups on Youtube from various users and they all had this buzzing sound in the audio. I did not have the vocal button on the base of the Singstand2 in, that button tries to tune out the vocals on regular songs you play on your media device. I've set up the return for it and won't be purchasing this item again.

I purchased this for my 5 year old's birthday. It was a more serious microphone than what she was ready for, but it's been a great purchase. The price was about the same as the "kiddie" microphones & she will be able to use more of the features on this as she gets older. It's always nice to purchase a product that kids will grow into instead of grow out of quickly! It has excellent sound & is great quality!!!

I was looking for a microphone with a stand and amp or speaker for our 2.5 year old because he loves to sing and perform like Daddy. After purchasing two plastic kids ones, I added this one to the cart just to compare. Since receiving it he has barely touched his other microphones. I did keep one of the plastic ones for him to be able to play with on his own without supervision because this one is much nicer and heavier/sturdier (especially the mic), but he absolutely prefers this one! My husband and I also enjoy singing on it and it's great that he can hook up his phone and play tracks for us to sing along with. The speakers are nice and loud. I didn't have any preconceived notions of this product and so I was surprised at how popular it has become. I am very happy with the purchase and feel it was well worth the money. My only "gripe" is that the stand is too tall for my little one and can't lower more, but I knew that before I purchased so I don't fault the mic. I wish the company made a kid-sized one though!
Faulty jack in just 1 month = disappointing Christmas gift

Waste of money. Only worked one month with only a small amount of use time. Been on the phone with Memorex numerous times trying to get repair/replacement without success. Horrible customer service. I have been very polite and patient but I am now pissed off. This was the only thing my son wanted for Christmas and he barely got to use it to practice with. Memorex now says I have to mail back the unit (in what box) at my cost.
