Actually Very Good!by Ace (4 out of 5 stars)

First of all, don't listen to the other guy...I'm guessing he didn't know how to zoom in and out because "two feet in front of your face" is too much of an exaggeration. I, on the other hand, can very well see AT LEAST 20 feet away from where I stand.
Now there are two reasons I gave this product only four stars.
One, it only had 3 predetermined ring sizes. I'm currently using what I believe is the size 8. Now I'm a size 9 so it's a little tight on my ring finger (this is where you want it so it's not too far or too close when using the scope completely zoomed in), but it got comfortable after a while. The other sizes are, in my assumption, size 4 and size 12 thus making them 4 sizes apart.
Two, the size of the actual ring. Now the best part about this is that the band is detachable, thus the three ring sizes. So you can actually take off the big piece and just wear the band and when you want to use it just attach it again or not at all (you can still use it without the band). This is a minor detail considering you WILL need the bigger lens for it to be a scope.
All I'm saying is that if you're interested in this product, then you must know steampunk. They travel, they build, they salvage all with the help of technologies powered by steam. They don't go bird and cloud watching. Therefore they use scopes like this for identifying legitimate parts and pieces to trade, build, or sell.

I paid extra for overnight delivery since I needed this for a last minute birthday present. When I took it out of the box to look at it. I realized the compass wasn't working. Unfortunately the party was in a couple of hours, so I then had to scramble to find another gift. I will be returning the ring.

cool. and cute looking. great in theory but you can not see two feet in front of your face let alone anything in the skies! Hardly even a magnifying glass.

My daughter liked this so much. She was using it to look into the trees, then bent over to look into the water and *PLOP* the business end of it fell off ring. Make sure your child secures the telescope at all times! Found it on ThinkGeek for $9.99 plus shipping.
