Its an investment!by Amazon Customer (5 out of 5 stars)

It came fast and just as described, but I waited to develop the film to write a review. The pictures themselves look vintage. They are grainy with a yellow filter. It worked best with lots of sunlight. Regarding the development of the film. I am lucky enough to have a couple of photography stores near my house to develop this film however the average price to do so is around $40 for a single roll of 24 pictures. The price gets broken down into three parts: developing the film, scanning the negatives into jpegs and then the printing cost. Since there is a learning curve a lot of your pics won't come out in the beginning while you're still learning the optimum settings for your camera (This happened with my instax mini 7 too) Something the shop suggested is buying a 110 scanner that way I don't have to pay them for scanning the film and I would be able to look at the jpegs and decide which ones to print beforehand. That way I keep my developing cost low. Developing was like $8. If i scan myself (free) and printing jpegs is super cheap (35 cents per pic). I've been looking on amazon and most Scanners start of at $60. This will definitely be an investment. Please call your local photography store beforehand so you're aware of developing prices. This is quite an investment compared to the camera itself. I've also done research and found that Lomography develops film for a reasonable price based in NY. I live in the west coast, so my only option would be to mail it in. Not sure how I feel about that. I'll probably just buy the scanner. Hope this helps!
