I NEED SPACE! No, really, I need all the space-themed things in my life. The day has finally come when it's cool to be nerdy. Well, I don't really care about being cool, but I do enjoy that the space/science popularity translates to really fun and nerdy products hitting the market. Like these here solar system-themed bath bombs, Galaxy Bombs!

I'm not big on taking the time to draw a bath and relax (I'm a busy lady), but I talked myself into trying to slow down a bit and indulge. *Enter Galaxy Bombs* I ordered the set expecting I may not like at least one of the scents (there are 9 different scents), but that was not at all the case. The day they arrived I sat at my dining table sniffing them in deeply one by one. I had a date that night (first date), and I almost cancelled so I could get to soaking in the one I had already decided was my favorite: Mercury (eucalyptus & ginger & orange). Jupiter (coconut milk & lime) is a close second. When my date arrived to pick me up, I had him sniff each one. He pretended to care and it was endearing. The date happened, blah blah blah, I couldn't wait to get home and take a bath now that I had a hotdog (not an innuendo, calm down) and a glass of wine in me. My date pulled up at my place to drop me off and then *shut his car off* - I was SO FRUSTRATED. Couldn't he tell that I urgently needed to get in the house alone and... uh... "I have to poop!" I said. I just said whatever it took to get him to not linger. He looked stunned by my admission. *Long pause* I think he thought maybe I was going to let him wait around until I was done. I followed it up with, "And I can tell this is the kind of poop I'll need to immediately follow up with a bath." His eyes widened. I thanked him for the evening and bailed from the awkward scene I created.

I've seen so many videos on Instagram of people lowering bath bombs into the water and it looks so satisfying, I was really looking forward to doing that part. I filled the tub, lit some candles, and unwrapped Mercury. The warm aroma was even better once the wrapper was off, and fine sparkles glistened all over my fingers, reminding me of nebula against the dark background of the bathroom wall. I lowered the bomb into the tub with my body and it immediately blossomed - shimmer spiraled out like radial arms as the fizz propelled Mercury into a spin. The water grew cloudy with silky stellar dust and I sank further in until I was properly relaxed. Why wasn't I doing this sooner? I realized I don't even need to go on dates. I'll just date Galaxy Bombs instead. "¨"¨I've since used all but 2 from the collection, and the smell and experience was equally awesome for each. I was worried they'd leave a residue in my tub, but it all washes down clean. And if your tub drain has celiac disease, it'll be fine - they're gluten free.

This set of 9 bath bombs (planets & the sun) is beautiful! The scent combinations are excellent & aren't overpowering, the colors are alluring and the price is quite reasonable for a themed set of high quality bath bombs. The exterior packaging is sturdy and visually appealing & the subtle Star Trek references made me smile. The set will make a thoughtful & enjoyable gift for adults and kids - definitely on my holiday shopping list!
*The gluten-free note on the box made me laugh.

Relaxing and calming

The packaging is very high class as the box is heavy duty and protects the product well during shipping. They arrived in perfect condition. These Galaxy Bath Bombs are larger than any I have used and the mild fragrance is relaxing and calming. The are sparkly which helps with the calming effect. I loved watching the sun sink into oblivion as if I was on the beach. AND...FYI...Earth, Jupiter & Uranus are great scents for the men out there that might take a relaxing bath.

Love these!! Unfortunately, these arrived the same day my three nieces visited so they immediately begged for bath bombs so I can't review all the scents. Everyone loved the look and smell. The ones I have tried always have a beautiful color, fizz, and scent to the bath without leaving a sparkly mess to scrub out after. I have a jetted soaking tub and one bath bomb was enough to color and fizz the water.

These things are freaking gorgeous and smell divine. I want to throw them all in the tub at once, plop myself right in the middle of them while yelling, "I am the universe!!" So far I've been settling for one bomb at a time. So far.

Colored the water not the tub, smell great

These smell very good, when you open up the box it immediately hits you. I have used the Earth, Sun, and Mars ones so far and they were quite colorful! The Mars turned the water a deep red and it looked like blood. I noticed once it drained the bathtub had a tiny bit of red residue on the tub, but it came off with a lil pressure. The Sun one made the water look like pee... other than that they've looked and smelt great.

I have some allergies and sensitive skin (eczema), and afterwards I get a few small red bumps. That's a me-problem though, I don't think that has to do with the bath bombs themselves. If you have sensitive skin, be warned, but I wouldn't worry about it!

This is so smart! Combining a multilayered explosion of color and scent with a love for our galaxies - doesn't get any better than that. Easy to use and just all around fun. Makes for a great gift too.
