A happy little book!

A very quick read. It's more a picture book and then on the other page it has a quote from him and his shows. From smack the devil out of the paintbrush to happy little trees, all your favorite sayings are in this book. There are some very breathtaking paintings of his as well, and some of them play directly off of the quote that is provided.

I would highly suggest this book to any Bob Ross fan, as it would make a great coffee table book, or even to use it as a quote a day and just leave the book open to that day's page and quote

The book is a little bit small about 6x4 inches, but still I'd say it's worth it.

A small collection of beautiful art and wise words

As a kid who grew up in a household that didn't have cable/satellite tv often there were times where I'd be stuck watching Bob Ross on rainy or lazy days. I say "stuck" as if it's a negative thing but it really isn't because I grew up watching his stuff and was always impressed with how easily his brush strokes could create whole environments from splotches of paint. Well a friend of mine is also a huge fan of Bob Ross even on the hunt for the Funko POP figure they made of him. Her birthday was coming up and I decided this would be one of two gifts I'd give her both because she loved his paintings and also his little tidbits of wisdom he would throw out there while in the midst of painting his works. That's basically what this book is, a small collection of his works and his words side by side from page to page and it's really well put together and the passages of his comments chosen are very heartfelt and inspiring even if you aren't a fan.

A happy accident!

One of my son's HS teachers is a Bob Ross fan, so on a lark, we decided to skip the predictable Starbucks gift card and got him this book and a box of Bob Ross bandaids for his holiday gift instead. He was visibly thrilled and said it was the best present he ever received. I was skeptical, but apparently the book is very inspirational. He now reads the class a little motivational saying out of the book every day during math class and they absolutely love it.

Great collection for Ross lovers

This is a wonderful little collection of Ross images and quotes. I gave it to my 12 year old daughter for Christmas -- she's a huge Bob Ross fan -- and she said it was just right. The biography section includes background on Bob's life before he became the icon of PBS. (It's surprising!)

I got this for my husband this Christmas and read through it. It is a wonderful and uplifting book, and almost everyone I know would love it. I definitely foresee giving more of these as gifts.

The quotes are wonderful but my favorite part was the introductory portion on Ross' life. I did not know anything about his life prior to reading it and appreciate him even more having read it.

What a fun artist and a way to read about it and see his art and quirky quotes rolled up into one tiny book. The book was smaller than I expected, but it fits perfectly on the back of the toilet. We and our guest enjoy flipping though this book.

My boyfriend is a painter and we have spent many hours watching Bob Ross together. This is going to make a nice coffee table book for him. Nice little hardback with quotes from Bob Ross. Great price and quick delivery. 🙌🏻

I bought it as a gift and I know he will love it. It has pictures on one page and one of his comments on the opposite page. I also enjoyed the introduction about how he got started.

I grew up coming home from school and watching Bob Ross every day. I never mastered much of his techniques, but none of that matters. He is pure joy to listen to, watch, and read. Don't mistake this for a silly book. It is truly wonderful, calming, and enriching. I bought copies for several close friends and they all love it too. And yes, I do crack the pages often and indulge in a few passages.
