I bought this book for my moms birthday. I guess I never payed attention to the measurements/dimensions of the book. Because when got it, I was a bit upset. Nevertheless, I took the size as a challenge and won; and my mom loves her birthday present.

A word of advice if you're willing to put in the work (which you should be, since you clearly love your mom): In a Word document, type out all the statements on each page, then fill in the blanks here before you copy them all into the actual book. This way, you won't reach a certain page and go, "I have the perfect word for this, but I already used it for a different page!" This is a great way to plan everything out to make this gift the best it can be.

Thoughtful and unique anniversary gift for husband

I am so glad that I stumbled across these books. I love the variety and plan to get more in the future for different occasions/recipients. I purchased "What I Love About Us" to give my husband for our 10 year anniversary. I have printed several photos from the last ten years and will glue them into the book. I will put them on the numbered pages. I have followed other reviewers' advice and typed out all of the sentences in Word so that I can really think about how I want to fill each one in. It is a small book, but it's totally adequate for my needs. I just know my husband is going to appreciate the time that I've put into giving him a one-of-a-kind gift that he can keep forever! Some people seem surprised that these books are so small, but the listing photos show the scale of them in one's hands. I will definitely get more of these in the future.

Not as Heartfelt as I would have Liked

Honestly, this product is just okay. The price keeps changing dramatically (I bought it at around 14$, and now its at 9$). I would say it may be worth 5-7$. The book is VERY tiny and it has 50 "fill-in" pages. There were a few pages where I felt I could really personalize it, but I found myself rewording many of the prompts in order to not provide a generic answer that could be applicable to all moms vs. something unique about my unique relationship with my mom. Overall, this is just okay. I bought one for my dad at the same time too in "diary" format with this being "hardcover" and they look exactly the same. Just not a fan of this. I'd give it 2.5/5 stars, but since I can't, I'm rounding up to 3. Next time, I'll just make something by hand.

Great way to celebrate Mom, memories, and love

I highly recommend these books. I bought this for my 81 year old mother for Mother's Day. She loved it. And because she's getting forgetful, she loves it like the first time each time that she reads it, even if that was only moments before. When I first sat down to fill it in, I gave myself lots of time, thought methodically about each page's prompt, and tried to write rough draft responses on scratch paper that I planned to polish and refine later. That effort failed dismally, and I worried that I had overestimated my ability to fill in tear-jerker, memorable, sweet, or humorous thoughts on each page. The night before Mother's Day, I tackled the little book again, this time with a more spontaneous approach tinged lightly with panic because I had no Plan B if this failed. Spontaneity was definitely the right approach because I dashed through the book, finding just the right word or two to write on each page. Some answers surprised her, others made her smile, and a couple brought the predictable sniffle and tear brushing.

I was an idiot and didn't realize the size of this thing. It was so small! It fit in my hand.

I still like it and plan on gifting it, but just giving others a heads up on the size if they haven't yet noticed.
