This is a game to have for any Walking Dead fan. We love Walking Dead and we love monopoly. My kids and I have played this a couple of times. It's fun and gets the kids off the electronics. My son loves that it has Rick's hat. I'd like to see some characters as game pieces, but that isn't a huge deal. We found it very odd that you buy *walls* but yet they're in the shape of houses. It's still a good game though.

A fun twist to the classic game

Monopoly can be kind of boring after playing it through the years. Everyone in my family already memorized all the properties and cards but getting a new special edition monopoly once in a while helps to keep it interesting. This is a great edition for any Walking Dead fan! The art is excellent and the cards are entertainingly themed. Just keep in mind that the game is based on the comics not the show. So if this is a gift, make sure the recipient read the comics. If they didn't then maybe buy them the comics instead!

If you are a Walking Dead fan you will love this game! The way they incorporated so many things from the show is amazing. The only thing I was surprised with were the little silver game pieces... They chose some really great things for the pieces but Michonne's sword and Negan's Lucille are actually very small. If you chose one of those pieces and get side tracked you may have a difficult time finding them on the board. But all in all, we love playing this game!

It's okay, but not as good as original

I got this game because the whole family loves Walking Dead and monopoly. It took a bit to get used to it, but we did enjoy a few games so far. The pieces are small and flimsy. I stuck the sword in a piece of foam so that we wouldn't lose it and could stand it up. The board is a bit confusing and uneven, we are all used to knowing how many spaces there are on each side which makes it easy to move the pieces quickly.

So it is novel and okay, but all said and done everyone in my family reverted back to the original monopoly game when asked to play.

My wife and I are huge walking dead fans so I thought why not get the walking dead monopoly! but when we got it we instantly changed our mind. I guess it's nice to have it as an extra monopoly but not as a main set. the tokens are cool but when you put them on the board you can hardly see where your token is. instead of building houses they're called walls but it comes with little plastic houses, walls would have been cooler.

I just think they could have done a better job with The walking dead edition

I love this game! I've always loved the original monopoly game but never played any other special versions til now. When I saw they had a walking dead version I had to get it loved how they changed everything based on the show/comic books. One thing I wish they did was put actual guard towers and walls instead of houses and hotels inside the box. Outside the box it tells you there's guard towers and walls but they're only houses and hotels instead. But other than that, no complaints :)

Fun adaptation of a classic game

Great adaptation of the game. My only complaint would be the manufacturing shortcut that was made when converting the original game's houses and hotels to the Walking dead version of fences and guard houses. They are the same shape as the original game pieces so it was a bit of a let down as far as theme details. It's certainly not strong enough to stop anyone from enjoying the game though. I'd still recommend it to any Monopoly playing Walking Dead fan.

Great game as long as you like playing monopoly. Don't be mis-led by the description, it's just monopoly. No twist to the original version at all, just everything changed to a walking dead theme. If your looking for a walking dead themed classic board game with a twist, try the walking dead Risk. Not only do you play against each other, you have to fight off walkers as well. But as long as you like playing monopoly and are a fan of the tv show or the comics, you'll enjoy this version.

If you're a walking dead fan, you'll love this monopoly board. It's the same game, just a little more entertaining.
