This is a pretty stout tool pouch. The only issue I see so far is the quality control. I would otherwise give it 5 stars. So far, I have had issues with rivets not being placed properly, creating possible spots for leather coming apart. The second one I received looked better, but had an erroneous cut on the inside making the leather so thin it nearly has a hole. It has to be returned. Perhaps third time's a charm. Im going to keep returning until I get a decent one because the leather is pretty thick and stiff and it's going to make a fine product that will last for years.

If you get a good one, it looks to be really well made and its going to hold up well.

Had a tough time finding the right tool bag with the tape measure clip correctly positioned. I wear these bags on my left side (hammer on right in a holder) and having to reach all the way around to grab the tape measure was a pain. It was amazing to me how many bags were set up that way. This bag is so much easier. The leather is pretty stiff but its well made.

its been a year since I bought this. it's held up quite nicely. it doesn't stay as stiff either.
*edit* Going on 5 years now. stitching split in the smallest side pouch (put a piece of Zip tape on it about 5 months ago, hahaha) but besides that it's still going strong.

why do i like this? because my mexican hands can reach the nails on the bags.. unlike the other bags i bought in the past 35 bucks each expensive. But very well spend.. I have purchased like 4o of them in the last 2 years for my coworkers too, And none of them complain about the cost after they use them

I am an electrician, I use this pouch for rough wiring houses. I have worn it twice and yesterday I noticed that the belt hoop rivet and stitching is already coming undone. The leather looks top notch, comparable to Occidental Leather but not the construction quality, I will be returning this item.

10-pocket top grain nail pouch

Look no further; this nail bag is what you need and want. Very durable material that will last for years and years to come. The main large pocket is also big enough to carry large tools (i.e. 18V batteries). Have also purchased the same style 8-pocket tool bag but the large pouch is incredibly too large. Unfortunately, it is already pretty dirty from work so I will not be returning it.

For serious carpenters, I recommended buying two of these pouches and a belt. The only downside is how CLC has replaced one of the hammer rings with a tape measure clip. You will only be able to carry your hammer on the front right or back left of this pouch (given the two bag setup).

Top grain leather and tough stitching makes this a good carpenter toolbag to wear at work.

I like the beige color of the leather, and the pockets are right sized.

It is way better than anything out there in the big box stores around Dallas.
