It does what I wanted it to do - valid complaints, but made it work...
by JK (3 out of 5 stars)

I got the standard size. It fits the back of my Grand Cherokee perfectly in that I can fit my 3 wheel push cart folded up right next to it, with the clubs laying across the back in front.

Yes, the shoe compartment collapses. What I did - cut apart the box it came in and took the sides and stuck the cardboard in there next to the Velcro'd "supports" and it is holding up just fine. And I have another little "trunk storage" basket on top of it, and again is holding up just fine.

I have a size 13 shoe and can only fit two pairs into the shoe section of the standard size. That was unfortunate, but livable. I was able to store a couple of dozen balls, some other loose items (sun block, bug spray, club tool, etc.) and an extra change of clothes in the top section. Not really big enough for all the jackets and hats I have, which is why I have another basket on top.

At $50, might be overpriced considering it collapses. But overall I'm really glad I got it, I needed somewhere to put shoes and this fits the bill. HUGE improvement in organization in the back of my car.

Good for golf, wish it was a bit more sturdy walls for the top compartment

Not very sturdy. It comes with velcro walls, that does not quite fit in the top compartment. It seems a bit flimsy. But it has space for what I need. Two pair of shoes, golf balls, tees, glove, a light jacket, golf cap and other extras you migh need. I pack it up every summer and it lives in my car and keep my golf equipment in one spot.

Worthless

Pay attention to previous reviews concerning the sturdiness of this case and save the boxes it came because you will need them to retrun it. Nothing you do will prevent the top from collapsing onto the bottom. The supports that come with it are useless. I even cut my own from plywood and that didn't help. I packed mine up and sent it back.

Don't expect a Samsonite!

I like the compartments, has all the space I need... But this does not feel like a Samsonite AT ALL. The supports on the bottom inside are very very flimsy. I can't put anything more than a couple pounds in here. For example a bunch of balls for hitting up the driving range, it right away doubles or folds in and now the weight is on my shoes. Every time I get in there I have to stick my hand underneath and try to bend up the supports. It's just not working for me.

Constantly Collapses
by Ian Drazen (2 out of 5 stars)

I Knownits intended to be a trunk organizer for golf gear, but I bought it to use it for all my gym gear. I liked that it had the ventilated compartment down the bottom for two pairs of shoes and dividers on the top. However, I soon found out the construction is not great. So that the trunk can collapse there are pop up velcro inserts. However they don't work well to keep the bottom expanded. If you put anything with any weight on it collapses. I put a weight belt in the top and every time I come back to open the trunk the bottom has collapsed. Even after I took the weight belt out it still always collapses. If it could stay expanded it would be great. But since it doesn't it's not.

Doesnt work for me - but..
by Pig (3 out of 5 stars)

I read the complaints on the shoe compartmenet - not really that big of a deal for me. There are velcro attached supports included that do fine and I like the idea of just putting the shoes in a box inside. But my OK rating - is that the "features" are biased - and kinda stupid. There are cigar holders... but no tee holders. Not alot of space on top. My golf-Car bag is for the unexpected - a rain jacket, pants, ballls, tees, socks, hat, cart seat cover. Extras and not-often used items. This is set up more for the person that brings in HIS bag in to the house- and puts his change of clothes when he gets off work - not the person that keeps the bag in the car all the time. And who would carry cigars in the bag? Need tee holders, a spot for a sleeve of balls, Overall - its too big for the little amount of usable space inside. I wouldnt buy again but not sure that I cant use it in the house.

Very good quality and useful

My DH loves his trunk organizer. Let me premise this by stating that he golfs 5+ times a week, and is very organized. It does take up some space, as he has a MX6, if you are constantly needing to cargo things, this will have to be taken out, if you do not want your items to be stashed. However, he easily can keep a light change of clothes, his shoes, extra balls, towels, etc all contained in there spaces. It is lightweight with a somewhat firm edging, with multiple compartments. If this does need to be taken out all of your possible necessities are easily taken in and out of the car. It does not feel like heavy duty quality- however, it has had heavy use and still looks just as good as new. Definitely recommend, especially for the organized golfer.

Will need to add cardboard for sturdiness but then after that, works like a charm.

It is true what others have said about this organizer, it's not really sturdy so the lower level becomes collapsed. I knew this before buying but knew there would be an easy fix with some cardboard. When I had it set up before anything was in it, I had some blankets laying on top of the whole thing and next thing I know the dividers on both the top and lower level started to bend and was hard to get back to it's upright position. I used pieces of cardboard from a different package and placed three on the lower level, two for the sides and one for the middle divider. I recommend that if you don't care about having to do this, use a piece of cardboard that is very slightly longer than the actual height of the lower level, that way it's not applying pressure to the original dividers and will stay up. My pieces were already this length but I noticed it held up well. Other than having to deal with that which would only take you 5 minutes, the organizer is very helpful in keeping things organized. I have yet to fully stock it but I would say it's worth it. The organizer might look like it takes up a lot of space but that's because I have a 2000 Toyota RAV4 which is on the smaller end of compact SUV's. Hope this helps.

Plenty of Space, Easy to Carry
by Cannon (5 out of 5 stars)

This is a well made golf trunk organizer. There's plenty of storage for a complete change of clothes, your golf accessories and multiple pairs of shoes.

It's nice that the bag isn't huge. It shouldn't be. You woudn't be able to carry it, otherwise. It's travel worthy, and I believe can be carried on an airplane. It's also easily toted into a lockeroom, unloaded and stowed. It will fit in many lockers without unloading.

The shoe storage area is collapsable. Some reviewed didn't like this feature (or objected to the photo which appears to show a more rigid item. I like that it's collapsable. Makes the bag fit in smaller places. Especially if you unload the bag in a facility and need to stow it.

I'm never a fan of soft, relocatable dividers for most "organizers" but for golf accessories and clothing, it works. Thinks won't shift needlessly and you can craft a system that works for you.

You can carry all that you need for multiple rounds in this one handy bag. It doesn't eat up too much trunk space, is there when you need it, and frankly makes planning for a golf outing easier.

Well made, holds together, can take a beating. Great bag.

All you need to sneak away from work
by Auburngrad (4 out of 5 stars)

Perfect for any trip to the golf course. It is just what you need to keep in your trunk, when you want to sneak away from the office at lunch, and get a round in at your other office. I love this organizer, and don't know how I have made it as long as I did without it.

My only complaint is the bottom, where the shoes go, there could be a stronger devider system to keep it proped up. I carry shorts or pants and a polo. There is always a jacket of some sort in it, and new socks, hat, pocket organizer, etc. Then in the bottom I can either keep two pairs of golf shoes, or as I normally do, one pair of golf shoes, and sandles for after the round.

It will also hold your cigars, lighter, couple of sleeves of golf balls, and pleanty of room for anything else. I think this is the perfect size, as I can fit my cart bag and this in the trunk of my coupe. Granted the back seats are laid down for the golf bag to fit in there.
