Should have heeded the warnings of prior purchasers! I wanted to like this burner, but 1st of all it doesn't accommodate stick incense either the stick has to be broken to shorten it or the incense has to be burned down to even allow it to fit in the burner & even after the stick is shortened the hole in the base is to wide to stabilize the stick so the stick leans which made me concerned it was resting on the wall inside the tree portion. The worse part of all is the smoke comes out of everywhere except the mouth!!!! I started to keep it because of its unique look, but I reasoned it would just end up another useless, space cluttering trinket, I sent it back!

Looks great. Stick incense worked for me, however the hole in the holder was too small so I had to widdle the stick to make it fit (lol). The item itself is fairly large, and in my opinion is very well made. It has some nice weight on it, does not look cheap and made of plastic. The smoke looks really great coming out of the mouth and the top. Like others had suggested, cone incense may work better - but the stick worked fine for me, it could be because my stick was thicker(lol) and was able to keep lit despite limited oxygen inside the tree. Either way, this tree looks awesome and I would 100% recommend this product for anyone who enjoys lighting incense.

Unique incense burner

Unique incense burner that keeps incense burning evenly with steady smoke release. Round base for the incense that fits into the bottom of the tree is loose, don't expect a tight fit. By design, probably for safety reasons, if you lift the tree, the incense in it's base will be left on the flat surface. Well worth the price.

Looks great with minor design flaws

I love the way it looks! However, there are couple of minor design flaws. First, the small incense holder piece is too small for the entire unit and caused the ashes to fall on top of the counter (I noticed when I lift up the body of the burner.) Second, the incense hole is too big and I had to modified a bit (I stuffed a small piece of paper towel into the hole) so the incense doesn't tilt sideways. Overall, I do like it, I just wish it had been better designed in terms of usage.

Cute but not real functional

I bought this for incense matches in the bathroom. The matches, when dropped into the top of the tree, burn and discolor what appears to be a form of plastic. I made a very short 1/2" copper pipe fitting to sit in the top of the head and it works now for what I wanted. It will not fit a full stick of incense in the designed for use with the little base. I would be concerned about leaving burning incense in this plastic tree. I'm not sure it would start a fire but appears that it could melt.

Its made of plaster but what else? You set a cone in the top after lighting it and it makes the room smell nice. Its just an incense burner thats been painted to look great! Its not as tall as its brother incense burner so I dont put them side by side. The taller version burns cones or sticks but it is more expensive and I like them both!
