I thought I was getting a real sailor's hat. These are an inexpensive, very light weight copy of a real sailor's copy. In a large production and from a distance it may look like a real cap. Up close and to try and manipulate--it just won't work. DMF

We used this once for a costume party - the hat looked exactly like a sailor hat. Since we only used it once, no idea how it will hold up with use.

I bought this for a halloween costume party and

it was inexpensive and arrived quickly just in time, lots

of compliments on it as a quick costume as

a sailor with a striped shirt! Great bargain!

This was super cheap and shipped fast, however it doesn't look that great. The top is wrinkly and caves in, so it doesn't have that classic sailor look. You get what you pay for!

Hat was all right for what I paid, but would not fit an adult. My grandson enjoyed it though, as it fit him perfectly well. He is 3 years old. The price was reasonable for what I got.

Very light quality fabric. I ended up going to military surplus and getting a much better hat for the same price (four dollars) and you can get a real military cap for about eight at the surplus store.

The hat was delivered in a timely manner, however it is not a hat that I would recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive hat to go with your sexy sailor outfit for Halloween. It looks kind of like a thin "beanie" with folded sides. Happy with the service, but not the product itself.
