This two in one item is a cutting board and strainer/colander in one! Non-slip handles on the end of the board keep it securely in place during use: both over the sink and on the counter top. The removable silicone collapsible strainer basket makes it easy to rinse and wash fruits and vegetables, or strain pasta and more directly over the sink. Or, collapse and remove the strainer basket to use as a regular cutting board on the counter top. The collapsible strainer washes clean when collapsed. The cutting board is made from durable, non-porous, odor resisting poly that will not dull knives. The silicone strainer expands to a capacity of 2.5 quarts and collapses flat for storage. Extremely useful cutting board...

This cutting board/strainer is pretty awesome. It's very convenient to be able to cut up fruits and veggies and just drop it right into the straining basket. It is excellent quality, as most Dexas items are. My only knocks are that (1) it is oversized. This does NOT fit in my dishwasher, even on an angle. Needs to be washed by hand. My own fault for not measuring the dimensions, but just something to keep in mind before purchasing. I saw one recently at Wal-Mart which was slightly smaller and would fit in my dishwasher. Didn't think the quality was as good tho so I am sticking with this. (2) Only other knock would be that I like it when a cutting board is cupped around the edges so that any excess water or juices do not flow over the sides. This is flat as you would expect it to be. Otherwise, I am very happy with this purchase.

Transformed my small kitchen. This allowed me to use the sink as extra counter space, with the added benefit of having a colander attached. I am able to drain and rinse vegetables directly into the sink, I have a place to toss unneeded veggie parts to dump in the trash later, also when it gets dirty I just spray water on it from my faucet. This has made cooking in my small kitchen a snap. Couldn't recommend it more.

This is expensive and so was the shipping. It was not packaged very well at all. Basically wrapped in a cardboard box, not actually put into a box, just had cardboard on top of it. The Strainer part is not conected to the board but is an insert. This made it difficult to hang and that is how I prefer to store my cutting boards so it just kept moving away from a good purchase for me personally.

All that said, the quality is there and it is very easy to clean. It is a good size for the dishwasher and does indeed fit over the sink as shown in the photo. I can my own foods and prepare a lot of from scratch whole food meals and this is a good addition to my kitchen. Despite the negatives I am glad I have it.

It's a good cutting board which fits across the sink and the built in strainer is a nice feature which I was looking for. However, I have found it to be difficult to store because the strainer is not attached to the board and will pop out when the board is angled. Even when the board is sitting flat, the strainer will lift slightly above the board unless weighted down. Additionally, the strainer is set so far to the side that it sits right against the side of the sink and can make it difficult to rinse items thoroughly.

This is a good quality cutting board, but because my sink isn't at the same level as my counter it isn't sturdy. The strainer is floppy making it hard to clean and when you go to dump out produce it springs it out. However, I've found a way to make it work so I'm keeping it - suggest you have a sink level with counter.

I added a second 12" sink used mostly for fruit and vegetable prep. This is perfect for that sink. The surface is large enough to do any cutting and the plastic drainer sits flat with the top of the cutting board on one side. The only improvement that I would suggest would be to make both sides so that the plastic drainer sits flat (then both sides could be used).

Love this board strainer and over all concept, but needed to be at least an inch wider to prevent it from caving into sink when working and bending downward somewhat.

Fell in love with the Grey on this design...sad it won't work out
