This hefty safe is a genuine bolt that's hollow. It's a slick way to hide your stash. Unfortunately, it's too shallow to hold a rolled up bill. The bill would have to be folded first. This annoys me (just a little) because the seller's images show a rolled up bill. It's barely tall enough for a matchstick. The inner compartment is not as long as the bolt. Other than that, it's a cool little hiding place. You'd never know it was hollow when holding it; it has a nice weight and feel to it.

The entire thing (appropriately?) is kind of slimy with oil. I guess that makes it more authentic? More rust-resistant? Still, it wasn't my favorite smell / thing to get on my shirt. My main beef is with the threads: they don't work well. The threads on the cap and the threads on the "bolt" part don't join up very well, so getting the cap on straight is kind of tricky. It also immediately let me know how they made it (and how quickly). I mean it's fine for what I bought it for (a treasure hunt), but it's not great.

Appears to be a very cool hiding place...but totally disappointed when it turns out you can't even fit dollar bills. Especially since the listing shows a picture of cash being hidden in it. very misleading.

It's well made it's heavy too bad it's so ridiculously huge unless you are diesel mechanic the size alone would cause someone to look at it and play around with it it's not very diversionary at all it's made of metal that's cool but it's so freaking huge it looks like a novelty item so no this is not a very good place to stash your money Etc unless you're like I said a diesel mechanic and carry around large bolts and tools.

I don't know who said you couldn't add anything bigger than a single aspirin in it... Unless they're smuggling extra giant horse tranquilizer pills...? Easily stash several pills in it ... Just to be sure I tried it. I was able to randomly toss in 17 orange OTC Motrin's to be sure. It has white pvc like

pipe inside of it so it's pretty secure as far as I can tell. It's for small items. If you need something larger go for the Aquafina bottle! It's secure, and way bigger than I thought it would be. Tossed it in a tool bag and it went invisible real quick. I love this thing.

This is a real nut & bolt that has been machined to allow the head of the bolt to be unscrewed, revealing a machined-out shaft capable of storing small items; like some emergency cash in the form of a paper bill. Note that this is a LARGE item, not something you can just throw in your junk drawer with out it looking out of place. I would recommend you putting it in the garage along with maybe some larger equipment so it doesn't look out of place.

Awesome idea sturdy heavy but what a$$h##e decided to show money in this thing when it doesnt even fit i mean every bill has been the same size dor a long time probably since abe lincoln drew a picture of george Washington on the 1dollar bill

Problem is it's just way too big and looks out of place even in a toolbox. If you can find a place to screw this into something that blends in with other large heavy bolts or mix it in with huge bolts it will probably work.

Looks just like a nut and bolt. Inside is lined with what looks like stainless steel. Not very big area, you could fit a couple Bill's in there th m but they'd have to be folded pretty small
