I just got my slippers today, when I ordered them last week, it said the estimated delivery date was mid to end of April, so they're here already a month early which is always really nice.

I wear a women's US size 6 and these are HUGE on me. Since they are one size and don't say men or women's. I sort of expected that. The soot ball is so much bigger than I expected it to be, but it's not a problem, they're adorable and totally ridiculous. If I can figure out how, I'll upload a pic of my tiny feet in them for reference. The image on the product page is a little deceptive, but I actually think they're cuter in person. The hair goes a lot more wild.

Definitely would recommend for any Miyazaki fan. Only thing, they're huge on my tiny adult feet, I don't think they'd be so good for young kids.

Cheaply made slippers

First, I wear a woman's size 8 and the slippers fit okay. I don't think they would fit any larger size as my toes are on the seam inside the slippers and my heal less than an inch away from the end.

Second, the image for these slippers seem to imply there is more of your foot "Inside" the slipper than outside when on, but that's just not true. Only about half the foot is inside the slipper and the rest remains uncovered.

Third, the slipper is very cheaply made. The fuzz isn't soft or cuddly. It's some sort of nylon / plastic material and the whole thing reminds me of something you might win at a carnival. The whites of the eyes are made with white backing material and are not completely attached. They are only attached where the black beads for the pupil are sewn in.

The base of the slipper is filled with what feels like cheap foam. The fabric on the bottom of the slipper is definitely thin and cheap (it will likely wear through in a matter of weeks) -- but at least has texture to keep you from sliding. The rest of the material is somewhat soft but the stitching of the word "Totoro" on the heal can definitely be felt while walking. Also, when wearing, the material inside the slipper is loose over the foam and bunches up under my toes. There are threads sticking out from the stitched areas around the bottom of the slipper and the head is shedding.

Finally, the slippers are made in China and the care instructions are not in English.

I'm not going to return the item (out of laziness) but really wish I hadn't wasted my money. It's really sad because they looked so cute in the picture.

I read the reviews after I ordered the slippers(i know stupid), so Iwas worried about the size. When the splinters came they came in a vacuum bag, in a padded bag and that was placed in a shoe box so product was well protected. I did the "baby test" on the eyes ( pull hard to see if they can come off and cause a chocking hazards) they passed. Finally the size; I usually wear between 8- 8.5 women's USA sizes I had plenty of foot room and the writing didn't bother me when I walked, the soles were no worse than other licensed merchandise I've purchased before. One last thing the fur shed slightly when I first shook them but anyone who has sewn with fake fur knows that will happen when first stitched. Overall I am very happy with my slippers and so is my cat.

These slippers arrived two and a half weeks early which was a huge surprise. I wear a US size 8.5-9 and would say that the slipper just barely fits. If I stick my foot as far in as humanly possible. So to wear them about the house, I will constantly have to keep adjusting my feet to keep them all the way in. I would not recommend this slipper for anyone with a foot size larger than 8. As for the actual slipper, the foam in the bottom seems kind of cheap. The dust bunny itself is nice though the material looks more course matte and less silky shiny. An unexpected bonus is a small dust bunny on the back of the slipper that is not in the picture. While I am bummed about the size, and the dust bunny sheds a bit, they are adorable and would be great for someone with slightly smaller feet.

Adorable, but doesn't last long

After a couple of times wearing them, the padding had completely compressed down. Not long after, I noticed that one of the eyes had fallen off. They so stinking cute that I don't want to throw them away, but I most certainly can't wear them any longer.

These are my favorite slippers. They are the cutest things in the world, and if you are a Miyazaki fan you should definitely have them in your closet. As a woman with fairly small feet they are pretty large on me, but thanks to the design that doesn't really matter. They're absolutely adorable none-the-less.

They are also somewhat warm, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend getting these if warmth is your number one concern. These are primarily to be adorable, and the cosiness is definitely an added bonus.

firstly, took more than the max number of days to get here, so more than 35 days. secondly, they are of mostly good quality, but the hot glued a little dust bunny on the heel edge on both of the slippers(not shown in pictures), that you notice every time you step if your heel is close to the edge as hot glue has strong edges. Finally, i wear a size 8 to size 9 in men's in US sizes, i do not fit on these. i really want them to, but pushing my foot all the way in with my toe starting to push over the front, my heel still threatens the back boarder of the slipper and is poked by hot glue.

I bought these slippers to go with my Totoro pajamas, and have to say these are the cutest things ever. They look exactly like the picture, and are super fluffy! They keep my feet very warm (due to the amount of fluff) and stay on my feet too. I wear a size 7 in women's, and these fit perfectly length wise, but they're very wide and they felt like snowshoes when I first put them on. They seem to be well made, and I'm definitely happy with my purchase!

Coolest Slippers Ever

These were purchased for my girlfriend and she loves them. As a reference, she is of smaller size so they fit her with room to spare. I'm 5'11" with a size 10 in mens. They definitely do not fit me. They were reasonably priced but took a little longer to arrive, seeing as how they came from a much further distance than I usually order. Take that into consideration if you are stateside. I gave them to her a few months back and she wears them often. I was doubtful on their durability but they seem to be holding up well. Highly recommended for fans of the film.

Got holes after a few days

I got this slippers for my daughter and while they are adorable and fit her size 6.5 feet very well we noticed that after just a few days if wear they got holes in the sides. The holes were not large but increased in number as time went on. We used fabric glue to try to fix it but they keep reopening.
