Don't just limit yourself to beer with this fine product. One time I filled and drank an entire Das Boot of Mountain Dew, and when I was finished I had diabetes.

I ordered 2 of these and I did not receive the item described, similar to another person who recently reviewed this product. Contacting the seller is not an option. The description says 2 liter, 67 oz cup. This cup is not 2 liters. It is not 13 inches tall. It does not hold 67 oz. I didn't take the time to fill the cup with water, but it probably holds 1-1.5 liters. The barcode sticker on the box it came in says it is the 2 liter cup, but that's not the case. The box itself says "holds 4 beers!", which, again, is not 2 liters. I will be returning both of them.

Anyone who's been to a German bar will recognize this product. I got one of these units as a gift for my brother-in-law, and was very pleased with the purchase. Das boot is made from nice thick glass, and I feel like it will hold up to plenty of use. As others have stated, there is a seam along the side of the boot where the 2 pieces of glass have been pressed together. However, when you consider how much cheaper these boots are than hand-blown units, the seam isn't such a big deal. Because seriously, the hand blown ones are real expensive.

If you can ignore the "made in China" and just drink some great German beer to wash away the thought, this is the boot for you. It's machine pressed, so you'll find that coveted "stocking seam" on the back so many young ladies were raging for during The War, and it's substantially thick, like the bunkers of yore. It's also quite heavy, so it should be quite easy to figure who'll be out first in the flick-chug-pass games here in Wisconsin. Watch out for the tipsy one, they're likely to drop it!

I know my brother will love this beer boot for Christmas! We went to Europe this summer and saw these in some of the towns. I was impressed by how nicely packaged the boot was. It was definitely well protected for shipping and also comes in a smaller, more practical to wrap box. It was also a nice touch that a beer magazine was included with the package.

I gave this as a gift and was not overly impressed with the quality. It looks good, but there is a visible seam on one side of the boot, and a big made in China sticker on the bottom. For the price, it is fine, but is not the same quality as those I have used before.

I couldn't tell if it was really glass or not. It seems to be a sort of plastic/glass combo. The top is a bit sharpish and I wish it was smoother. Buuuut the beer went down nonetheless.

I bought three of these for the mens in my life...and they LOVED them! They are solid, quality, and HUGE! My husband insisted on filling one up and it took 6 bottles of beer to do it. I would highly recommend!

This thing is huge! Their is a very noticeable seam from front to back, but for under $30 it is great!
