Product Description

Apart from moving string, there's nothing quite like a cardboard box to attract a cat's attention. This playhouse serves the needs of your cat by being a great place to hide in and pounce from. But it's you that will have the last laugh as you see your pet's head sneakily poking out. Assembly required, non-toxic ink.

Cute, but Cat won't play with it
by Camper (3 out of 5 stars)

The tank itself is adorable, the inside is cleaverly decorated just like the outside, however our cat is too big for it and is not interested. I think it terrified him when we assembled it and he tried to jump out of the top and the turret came off with him (solution, tape).

It was hard to fold the corners into the box so part of the tank won't hold together and the glossy coat makes the tape hard to stick. so there are some gaps in the seams.

I would have given it 4 stars but the first time i bought this product they sent me the DJ scratcher, then i returned it and the second shipment had a tank but one of the pieces was missing. Third time is the charm (but i was pretty annoyed by then) so 3 stars. make sure you check the container for all pieces.

Fun for humans, not for cats
by Dairokkan (2 out of 5 stars)

What everyone else has said: This so-called "cat playhouse" is too small for any feline larger than a six week old kitten, and thanks to its poor design even cats with Maru-level box obsessions will want nothing to do with it. Might be worth trying with smaller pets - tank bunnies? tank ferrets? CUTE! - but as a cat house, it's a fail.

Giving it two stars because while the instructions are seriously vague and it's extremely difficult to assemble, if you manage it you'll end up with a pretty nifty-looking 3D cardboard sculpture. If you just want one to have around the house, you'll be pleased with its quality and durability. It's not good for much beyond sitting around looking cool, but at least it does that fairly well.

Sad army cat is sad
by daisylind (2 out of 5 stars)

Ok, first off. this was more a purchase for me than for my cats. My cats are happy campers with the free boxes and rubberbands they find around the house.

That being said, it was a short lived dream of mine that they'd adopt this army tank as their "next favorite thing"

Pros:
*Freaking adorable for the .2 seconds you can wrangle your cat inside and see them pop their head out
*Crazy beautiful detail of the "paint job", both inside the tank and out
*somewhat (?) easy instructions on how to assemble.. but did have to tape areas to reinforce flaps

Cons:
*WAY TOO SMALL. Even our smaller cat is too big for this. There's no way he's ever actually go inside willingly, and this is a cat OBSESSED with boxes. When I was able to cover him with the box, and he popped out (after the aforementioned adorable .2 seconds), the top box got trapped on his waistline and he barely fit getting out.
*only one hole! not sure where you'd put the other hole, but like the other reviewer said, unless you have a tiny. tiny kitten, you will just have an empty fancy tank sitting in your living room with your cats ignoring it.

Great concept, looks great, but doesn't really work. Sad!

Was a horrendous thing to put together. Too flimsy ...

Was a horrendous thing to put together. Too flimsy for cats to jump in the top. Have to undo the back so they will crawl in. Have yet to see a cat poke its head up. Canon won't stay attached.

Cat Tank is Not Heavily Armoured
by Savanna Cocoplan (5 out of 5 stars)

I purchased this gift for my sister who has five cats. After she received it, I was promptly sent many videos of happy cats doing what they do best with cardboard: sitting in it, eating it and clawing at it. She mentioned that the larger ones were unable to get in without her assistance (taking off the top portion) but the younger cats had no issues at all. Only one can (maybe two small ones) seem to fit at a time, which leaves the other ones to eat at the outside portion. It was amusing for what it is. I paid around 35 plus shipping and handling for this.

Cool design, will not last

We set this up pretty easily after receiving it. The biggest issue is that the corner tabs that insert into the other corner are pretty flimsy and no longer keep together. We will need to reinforce those with some tape.

Better than okay but I don't love it

I had no idea that I had to be responsible for putting together a cardboard tank with get it right or else slots as joints. This tank is as janky as the engineer who builds it. I guess I suck

Worth it, but it is too small for my cat
by Wowpieces (5 out of 5 stars)
April 23, 2017

It is a decent product, but my cat is too large for where the turret attaches to the base. The cardboard doesn't fit 100% to where it should so you should tape it.

But the important thing is I got a the video I wanted
