Good for what it is

I love this brush...there is no miracle for restoring any hair loss except hair solution centers maybe (or straight up rogaine if your issue is DHT related) however for a person with scalp issues (eczema, etc), it works wonders for me. I have a very dry scalp with poor circulation (usually blocked by the buildup of dry skin) that gets worse in the winter. Not only does it help to stimulate my scalp to exfoliate better (no dandruff issues with it) it really helps the skin on my scalp to feel energized. Whether it's just a feeling or not, I like it. I've had it over for a year now so it lasts the duration. I have a laser light comb and it's just as good where I'm concerned. Each person will have a different experience as their reasons for buying it will differ. I think if you are looking to improve your scalp, it's a good brush. The only reason it gets 4 stars is b/c i feel it's overpriced for what it is as well..i think 29.99 would be a bit more fair. It's well made but 40 bucks is a bit much in my opinion. FYI : keep the brush clean b/c if you do have scalp issues, build up will occur fast on any brush. If you have dandruff b/c of fungus, again clean it well or it defeats the purpose.

Great Product

My sister-in-law and brother looked at me like I had a screw loose when I gave them this for Christmas. Later they raved about it , wanting to know where I got it so they could give it as a present. Great for thinning hair for people living "in th fast lane" and loosing their hair over it! LOL They also said it wasn't just "gimmicky", but was very much enjoyed and used.

Great brush for relaxation

I saw this brush in a Sharper Image catalog and found it on Amazon. My hair is getting thin in the scalp so I decided to give this a try. I've only had it for a few weeks and all I can say is it feels wonderful! I use it ever night and it's very relaxing. Not sure if it's helping my hair growth yet but I'm enjoying how it makes my scalp feel.

Just started using a few weeks ago. Nice scalp massage. I do not use the light and massage at the same time as the light is dimmer. Use the lights first and then finish with a scalp massage,

Will update in a few months to see if brush helps makes hair fuller, etc.

Pricier than most, but worth it!

While it is hard to tell whether or not the light really helps or not, some doctors do say it helps. However, there is no denying that the massage itself helps blood circulate underneath the hair shafts. What I like about this brush is that the bristles are spread apart in such a way, that is is fairly easy to pick up loose hairs after multiple brushes. Some brushes tangle up the loose hairs and make the whole process a chore, but not with this Body Essentials brush. The pricetag might be higher than most, but the quality is great, in addition to the features, so it's definitely a great investment.

I don't think this does much to stimulate hair growth but ya know, I like using this brush... Long and short of it is that if feels good on your scalp and I like it! The brush seems to work through tangles and frizz well; different from your standard brush.

I used it for awhile. Not sure what it was suppose to do. Gave it to daughter who used it on her dog. Helped alleviate his skin condition with the heat from the lights.

This brush is excellent! I bought it for myself but realized that I don;t really like the vibration although many people like it. My cat loves it! I know it is a pricey brush for a pet but I was too lazy to return it and since she loves it, I gave ti to her. de is simply delighted when she sees me go for the brush. She rushes over to my lap to get her brushing. It is sort of like a massage and brushing combined.

I would recommend!

I gave one star because is no a 0 star. I used this brush about 5 or 6 times since I did not see any benefits at that time I stopped using it. Now a year later I tried to use it again and when was plug didn't start. What a waste of money for an expensive brush (electric).
