What an interesting skateboard this is. The wood construction is very solid. Nice grip tape and graphics are very clean. Not cheap like some other 'toy' skateboards. The LEDs are fantastically bright! Very cool ground effects in dark/night time settings.

Wheels are very hard so if buying for a young one I would recommend replacing with softer wheels. The trucks (what holds the wheels to the board and is responsible for turning) are fairly cheap and not the best quality. Though this is coming from someone who skated semi-pro as a young man. Though the board is pretty sweet so you could always replace the hardware if you really felt you needed too. However, it works just fine as it is. Includes tool for fine tuning and replacing which is nice.

Quite the crowd pleaser

I bought this a few months ago for my daughter's birthday. She asked for a (blue) skateboard and the lights just sealed the deal for my inner child. Yes, I have been known to sneak out with it on occasion. All the kids in the neighborhood are mesmerized by the LED running lights. It is quite dazzling and they are easy to turn on and off. It comes with its own tool for adjusting the trucks and a charger for the built-in battery.

It might be good for a kid

Just a heads up, it doesn't mention anywhere on the description and the picture is a little misleading because this has flickering rainbow lights. Not really what my husband was expecting. It might be good for a kid, but not for an adult. Blue or white lights would have been preferable.
