Awesome Bento maker!!!

My kids love love love this. If I make panda bear with these items, they eat more. They ask me to make more panda so I ask them to eat more veggies first and they would. Then I make more. It's so easy! I cook my Japanese short grain rice with Zojirushi IH rice cooker and use sushi nori (not Korean seasoned nori because those are harder to cut with the punch. Simple flat seaweed (sushi nori) does the perfect job. It's awesome!

Very cute. Stamp is a little difficult.

So cute. I've actually wanted one of these for a while. The panda rice mold itself is very simple and comes apart in three pieces for easy cleaning and shaping. The stamp is actually very heavy and feels like it was designed for commercial use. The only thing is that it seems to have a tendency to miss aline itself when stamping the nori. It does work but you have to be careful.

I saw this on thisiswhyimbroke.com and immediately needed it. As a manly man, I was not sure if this was socially acceptable? (By manly I mean the last time police shot at me for fun, I was 3, and even though my mom was broken down into tears begging him to stop, I though the *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* noise was cool and the dirt kicking up all around me was cool, I wasn't even a little scared. At 9 I got in my first knife fight (he had the knife), I won and got a free knife.. until the guy's mom called my grandma, who made me give the knife back. When I was 10? my 1 armed grandfather tried to make me fight 7-10 bears, I lucked out and the dumpster area was empty, so I never had to use his "If they come for you, feed them your fake arm and then kill them with your real one! Not to mention boy, these are black bears, not brown bears, you only have to be careful around the brown ones!". Since then I have had to fight convicts with guns who were planning a spree shooting I was at, yeah they backed down. I have drank beer while clinging by 1 hand to a rock face while people freaked out.) Now a few tiny bits of my manliness on the table, you of course know what I did when I saw these.., I asked my wife.

She said *SQUEE!* and so we had to have these. thus my manliness has not been threatened at all.

As for the product itself. It is simple and works like no one's business. The nori cutter is insane and all metal. I'd expect this to cost ~50$ on its own and was thinking I'd get some sort of crappy plastic cutter for the price I was paying.

So but some sushi/sashimi grade salmon after this shows up and put brains in all the pandas your guests will be eating.

Easy to work with and my panda onigiri came out ...

Easy to work with and my panda onigiri came out adorable! I made some for my landlady with tuna mayo filling in the center and she ADORED them. Making plain onigiri is a breeze although you may have to play around with how much rice you pack in when you're trying to make ones with fillings but once you have that down pat (it's super easy) then a whole world of cuteness in your lunches opens up. The panda face cutter is also super easy to work with and I end up just eating the leftover nori pieces when I'm done punching out the faces so waste not, want not.
