Fantastic for chocolate

Talk about the mother of all impulse buys. I picked this up on a whim, and have found it to be a fun little item for making Millennium-Falcon-shaped items of all types. It has a fine amount of detail while not being so detailed that your molded object gets all busted up when you remove it from the mold.

By far the best use I have found for this tray is for all types of chocolate. Making ice cubes is okay, but you can't see much detail in the semitransparent finished product. But melt some chocolate into this thing, and the resulting product is finely detailed and beautiful to behold. The only drawback is the fact that your finished product is very thick, and difficult to bite. But whatever! Chocolate Millennium Falcon!

Works great! It's Fine. We're all fine here. Now. How are you?

works great, absolutely would *not* buy in a combo with Carbonite HS ice mold, because dude he's like my dad or something and that's just wrong. Look at that face, he's clearly miserable. I'll bet he was spitting up Carbonite for years after that. And Chewie's totally not a vegetarian. He just couldn't eat that Porg in front of his little buddy. He's gonna have to get those chairs reupholstered because all that damage they did to the Falcon is not okay. Oh, and I'm super happy the ice mold has the old dish, not the new rectangular dish. I'll bet you 25 cents cash money Unkar Plutt is responsible for that shitty dish and it might be better somehow--but it's just not cooler. I'm going to go pour one out for the round dish. You do the same.

Kotobukiya? I don't think so.

I paid more money to buy the Kotobukiya brand only to find it was not an authentic product. On the picture on left is the Jollylife I bought. On the right is what I received, pretty much the same low grade product which came without any labels or packaging instructions, I have no idea where this is even made. Except on the sticker it reads Kotobukiya, but if you look at the detail on the picture description you can clearly tell that the details done on the actual photo is not what I received. If you want authentic Kotobukiya mold look somewhere else.

Nothing says "I've made it" like a vodka club with Millenium Falcon's floating in it..

If you aren't quite up to the challenge of figuring out the appropriate fill level for the Deathstar Ice cube molds, or just want to scare off even more ladies by having multiple types of Star Wars ice cubes in your drink.. then this here is what ya need.

Boost your self esteem to new heights by hosting parties and watching your nerd friends faces light up with joy when they realize they've been tonguing a Millennium falcon in their drink all night! While this will have the opposite effect on most women, if you find one that both knows what this is, and does not run away in horror - you've got yourself a keeper.

Makes awesome icecubes and soap

LOVE this. Hands down one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. I'd been using it to make ice cubes, and it works great! I also make homemade soap and it came out perfectly and was so much fun! Next I'll be using it to make chocolate and perhaps I'll upload another photo then, but for now here's the other two: (https://31.media.tumblr.com/db3f87df0e3142eee0866e855c23ec77/tumblr_n8z2ga5bAl1s34y0lo1_1280.jpg) & (https://38.media.tumblr.com/f9b48442e76bfdfa083db62a7ce535ce/tumblr_n8z2ga5bAl1s34y0lo2_1280.jpg)

Very big, but super fun!

These are great... however I ordered these to use as chocolate molds... The are far to big to use for my intended purpose as well as the intricate design was hard to capture in the thinner areas, that made getting the chocolate out it became too fragile. They are incredibly designed and super fun, I have used them to make ice to float in a punch bowl and that was great. I am still going to try making fudge instead of solid chocolate to give as a fun gift, as fudge can be cut easily...

Cools your drink in 12 parseks...

I also own the Han in Carbonite cube tray. The ice from that one is small. The ice from this one is big. Only scruffy looking nerferters like small cubes.

These are the best silicone shaped ice cube trays!
by J. Karau (5 out of 5 stars)

I have a total of 4 different designs of silicone ice cube trays and this one is by far the best! There are a few things that make these so good, first is the size, these make HUGE cubes, they last way longer than standard ice cubes. Second, these are so shallow they actually freeze faster than standard ice cubes as well. Lastly, this tray is very sturdy, the silicone is thicker than other trays and the bottom actually has nice squared off corners that allow you to actually put this tray on top of others and it stays nice and flat. Overall these are the best combinations of size, freeze time and sturdiness. I'd buy these again, heck I might even buy another to make more of these cubes.

Great versatile mold

I used this mold with white chocolate to help decorate my nephews birthday cake. It's very detailed, as you can see when brushed with a little food coloring to dirty it up. We also made (somewhat large) ice cubes using the mold. Easy to use and versatile as well.
