The Polar ICE Pitcher is made from the new Eastman Tritan copolyester known for its durability & clarity, it has an Aluminum Polar ICE Chamber (not a plastic ice chamber like most competitors) the Aluminum has a superior ability to transfer the cold from the ice to your chilled beverage without dilution from the ice. Just fill the ice chamber from the bottom and you are set, your beverage will stay much colder for much longer. The Polar ICE Pitcher is approximately 8 1/2" Tall and holds up to 60 ounces of chilled beverage + additional 12 ounces of ice in the separate Polar ICE Chamber. The lids are sold separately since most bars & restaurants serve draft beer in these and do not need the lids. Just check our Amazon store for lids, extra caps, etc...

The kegerator is in the basement so this was bought to reduce the trips for beer. Debuted at a family barbecue on a 95degree day. The beer was cold To the bottom of the pitcher.

You could use ice in the metal cylinder, but could be sloppy at refills. We used the frozen gel packs and they did the trick. We had two, but a third would add time for the first one used to reference and keep a rotation going.

I bought this for my husband and he absolutely loves it. He has a kegerator and he taps up a pitcher and lets the head dissipate some-that way he doesn't lose a drop. When he fills up the ice chamber, it stays very, very cold for a long time. I would recommend always gently hand-washing as the cylinder is very close to the side at the bottom and it could crack if not gently used. So far the lid to the ice chamber hasn't leaked a drop. Again I would be gentle with the lid. We've had it almost a month and have used it a lot. I think if we take gentle care of it, it will last a long time. I definitely recommend this product.

Excellent pitcher though if you decide to purchase the matching clear lid be aware that it may fit loosely and requires to be held on to to prevent it from flying off when this pitcher is tipped further as it starts to empty out. Other than that this is a great pitcher.

We use this to take tap beer out to the hot tub. It will hold about 3 glasses of beer when full and will keep it cold until it's gone. Only downfall is that it doesn't have a lid. It could hold a little more, too, but I understand why it doesn't (ice chamber). Not overly attractive - looks kind of like a blender - but as long as it does it's job...

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He take the beer from kegs and pours it into the pitcher. Stays cold for hours! It's fantastic! The plastic is great quality & nice and clear. It's lightweight & easy to clean. It pours nice and smooth. Totally recommend this product! I also recommend buying the insert. You could fill it with ice but it's so easy to just use the insert.

We saw this product at a bar, and we just had to have it. We use it with our kegerator in the summer, and its a great way to keep beer cold, without watering it down at all. We love how you just have to put regular ice into the metal pitcher part because it doesn't require you to prepare in advance to use it.
