Worked great on bleeding caused by blood thinners!

I recently had to call 911 because my husband was having chest pains. When the paramedics were here, he went into cardiac arrest. The paramedics yanked him out of his chair and onto the floor to do chest compressions. He's on blood thinners, and the medics cause a couple of pretty bad tears in his forearms. The hospital provided me with some heavy duty bandages when he was released, but we blew through those pretty quickly, and I ordered more. I also ordered this product, assuming it wouldn't work - but I was desperate and it was worth a shot!

To my absolute and utter amazement, this product stopped the bleeding immediately! My husband went from literally bleeding all over the place for 2 days to not bleeding at all. Highly recommend!

Must have for every mom. I clipped my daughter with finger nail clippers and blood shot every where, I was in hysterics ... I was ready to drive to the hospital when my husband grabbed on of these (we had one left from dental surgery)! It stopped the bleeding immediately and I was able to see it was a very tiny cut. Cut healed fast and perfect!! I keep these on hand at all times now! Great for nose bleeds too!

Ok, it does work. Some issues though. Expensive for the amount you get. Size to be economical has to be hand cut with scissors unless you have a huge wound and if so, get to the DR. And now...you cannot get it off without reopening the would UNLESS you soak it in water and gently remove. All these items using this compound to stop the bleeding, make the blood dry dark brown and I think the wound is more unsightly because of this. So it works....but.

I believe everyone especially those of us on blood thinners should have this as an addition to there home first aid kit. I have some training in first aid however in some cases there are times when direct pressure on minor cut just takes too long to stop the bleeding. Here is the product which helps.

These did not work at all. I bought them b/c I am on a strong blood thinner and when I used them they didn't stop the bleeding even a little bit. These are definitely NOT for people on blood thinners. PLUS< they are too small to do any real covering of a wound.

We purchased this gauze after discovering that a would we brought to the ER could have simply been handled with this type of product.

We've had the opportunity to use this on my toddler who had a very bloody cut on her finger. It staunched the bleeding very quickly and I feel more secure having it in our first aid kit.

This item is a pain to use, since you don't always have water immediately available to make it adhere.
