With this product I got exactly what I expected because I read the other reviews first, not by reading the seller's description. Luckily, I was able to order the right size because someone else had been unfortunate enough to follow the sizing chart provided. I'm 6'0" so I planned on buying the medium or large until I read other reviews. The extra large costume is actually sized for 5'11" to 6'3". After having the costume on, I really wouldn't suggest that somebody 6'3" try to fit into it.

Another thing reviews saved my expectations from was the quality. Just like another reviewer mentioned happened to them, my costume came with the toes already ripped out of one of the feet. Also, the cape is only half as long as it is in the picture.

The final problem with the outfit is the abysmal quality of the "helmet". With my complete ignorance of anything to do with sewing or clothes making I more than likely could have made something at least symmetrical.

In conclusion, I still gave the product three stars mainly because of the price. I bought the thing for a 5k this weekend and Amazon got it to me quickly. For a cheap price I now have something rather than nothing.

I'm 6'2" and got the XL. It's the correct size. Vertical height is fine, but arms a little short. I'm glad I bought Vader's gauntlets because I can imagine these ripping. Comments about the helmet are right: Lopsided. First time in a bodysuit, so my eyelashes against the mask will take some getting used to. I bought this for the 2016 Star Wars Half Marathon, so I have time to get used to it. Not recommended if you are overweight, but everyone else should be fine.

I am 5'3", 147 lbs. I'm also a woman. That being said, this fit me perfectly. I ordered a large because I tried a medium in store and it was too short for me. This costume is awesome, however, it is see through. I didn't want to wear the mask either because it's spandex and I switched the cape to a longer one I own. The cape is not too long. It went right below my butt. Also, the gloves weren't sown correctly. By the end of the night they were torn.

This product was garbage. Low quality and it came with a tear in the leg. I'm purchased a morphsuit before for the same price and those are far superior. Will never use Rubie's costumes again.

i have to say this i could not pull off Scary Darth Vader in this costume. Maybe Sexy, Suave, with a hint of caffeine migraine temper but nothing more.

Wrong size and bad quality; impossible to return

Just got this today and was very excited to wear it for Halloween. The sizing chart is completely wrong and there's no way it will fit me. I'm 5'8 and got the medium, but it's way too small. I suspected something was wrong when I got the package and read their medium "fits height under 5'4" tall", which contradicts the measurements on the site. The quality is kinda bad and there's a hole at the tip of one of the fingers. Other than ALL that, it looks similar to the picture, except for the length of the cape, which is much shorter. Also: very hard to see (or talk) with that mask. Very disappointed.

Last but not least: Amazon says I have until today to return it, which is the day I got the package. As I move forward on the return process, it says the deadline to return was yesterday and - again - I got the package today.

Didn't seem to fit correctly and ripped in a few seams by the end of the two hour night! My 12 year old son is barely 5 foot tall, yet the Medium seemed too small. Go with the next size up if you are thinking of purchasing.
