Sweet Action Figure!

I purchase this (and his companion) as a gift for my husband, and I must say that I am impressed! These aren't the G.I. Joe's of the 80s and 90s; these figures have more posable joints than you might know what to do with (even the feet have a joint). They are very well detailed and seem to be quite sturdy, though they are definitely collector's items and not something you would want a young child knocking about (they're rated for 15+). But they are really cool, well made, the packaging is nifty and user friendly, the interchangeable hands are pretty sweet (and fun to mess with), and they are well designed to easily stand in a lot of different poses. I wish you could make them sit down, too, but that's about the only "action" shortcoming I've seen so far. So if you're a DP fan, or know someone who is, you'll definitely get a kick out of these figures!

A perfect set!

I love Daft Punk, have since 1997 when Home Work came out. These figures are absolutely perfect. While identical in styling their bodies are actually different molds with slight variations to make them unique from each other. The boxes they come in are perfect for displaying if you don't want to take them out of the packaging.

Multiple hands mean you can put them in almost any pose. I just wish there was a replica of the ALIVE booth they used for their tour. Here's hoping they put out their Grammy all white and gold variants.

Great figures! I got Thomas and Guy Manuel and they look and feel awesome. Great source of inspiration in my studio.

Thomas has great details on the helmet below the black 'glass' and the diverse hands with gloves are greatly detailed too. It has great articulation and balance, even tho the neck has limited articulation due to the big helmet, unlike Guy Manuel. Can stand by itself without any stand or base. The packaging is quite awesome by itself, too. I have the boxes in display by the figures. These are a great addition to any Daft Punk fan collection.

This figures couldn't be better crafted. From the black converses to the leather jackets with all the zippers and stuff. If you're a hardcore fan, you can't miss this ones. This were also my first Bandai Tamashii Nations figures. You might find them a bit pricey, but really are worth all the extra price. I wouldn't think twice before ordering another figure from this brand.

Great likeness, and it comes with LOTS of various hand gestures. The figure is balanced well and you can have it on display without need for a stand.

Be VERY careful with the joints, though. These figures are very fragile unlike better figures (like FIGMA for example). I snapped the arm off of Thomas Bangalter while trying to pose it for display.

I am such a big fan of Daft Punk that the Thomas and Guy-Man figurines were a must have for me. I wasn't sure how they were going to look when I got them, but I got the boxes safe and sound. I pulled this little guy out after I opened Guy and nearly died (again). I will warn you that it is slightly difficult to open the plastic casing without the hands going everywhere on this one too. Also, I have yet to figure out how to change out the hands on this figurine as well.

But I give a five stars because those are just minors problems.

Each figure comes with 7 extra sets of hands (1 for each side) and is super-poseable all the way down to the toes moving separately from the boots. The detail is stunning including the Daft Punk logo on the back of the jackets. The helmets of both figures are chromed so they reflect everything that hits them like a mirror. The gloves are metallic paint so no reflections there but the quality stands perfect. Was able to change out hands without too much trouble, it was stiff in the beginning and I was worried about cracking it. In the end I just bent it back along the ball joint until it came off. It made a loud noise all 4 times (both figures, both hands) but nothing ever broke and putting on new hands proved to be much easier.

The quality of this figure is just amazing. Detailed, remarkably well constructed. Worth every penny--the helmet "smile" is incorrect, but I could care less. A true collector's item.
