BEWARE!! This company only guarantees their product for 60 days. I gave this as a gift. When it came time to wash the item, recipient followed the instructions from the website and the garment and then it no longer lit up. Told the manufacturer the issue and they would not exchange the defective product or give a full refund. Best they could do was offer a 20% off discount on a secondary purchase after they wouldn't stand behind my first purchase. Do not buy from this company, their customer service standards are low, you are wrong and they are right and they don't care about the quality of their product at all. A total thumbs down for Electric Styles!

The other reviews suggested I buy a size up and this proves to be correct. I bought a large and it fits like a medium which is my normal size. The fabric of the jacket is nice enough but the light is badly manufactured. I bought it to wear as I walk to work early in the morning when it is dark. I took care not to crimp the wire as it suggests, and the light lasted one 20 minute walk. Not worth the money, I'll pay more for something that actually lasts.

When I bought this I really had no idea what to expect. I'd never bought any clothes from Amazon or ElectricStyles, so for all I knew it would work for three seconds and then explode. Luckily that did not happen and I am still alive. The product is actually great and I'm kind of in love with it, might even think about marriage (joke). Without the lights it's a nice, breathable hoody. Some reviews I've seen said it fit too tight. I ordered an XL and it does kind of fit tight, but not because it's too small. It's like a fashionable kind of tight, y'know? Also, some reviews say the whining of the battery pack is annoying. You can hear it in a dead quiet room when you first try it on but when you go anywhere with it (like outside your house, for example) even a little ambient noise will make it imperceptible. The glow actually looks as good in the stock photos EXCEPT in natural light, but that's kinda duh. Looks great, will definitely buy another product from these guys.
(P.S. I have had it for less than a week so maybe it doesn't explode until like 6 days later or something. I have seen reviews of similar products that say the El Wire wears out after a while. I am avoiding keeping it turned on all the time to counteract this)

Jacket arrived quickly. Blue LED on jacket hood and front shows nicely in dark. Since I work evenings and arrive home at night. I wear it so car drivers can see me at night walking. Love the cosmos space design too! Have not actually worn it outside yet because we are in a heatwave. It would be too hot to wear outside now in July. But I'm sure it would turn heads because I haven't seen anyone else with a cool jacket like this! Material has a slippery smooth feel to it and seems to be of sturdy quality.

I purchased this a few months back and I really love it. The size was perfect and I actually wear this now when I go out at night for fun. The control pack it comes with 3 settings; light on with no blinking, a slow blink setting and a faster blinking setting. If you want it to blink to music you will need to buy another controller pack, which I did and it works perfect with it. I only spent an extra $8 on the other pack. I found that the batteries also last a while on it but how often you change them will depend on how often you use it. I take this to shows and people love it. It is not bulky and the material is actually quite warm for a spring night or fall night. Not ideal for mid winter wear outside. The hood is also nice and big just the way I like it.

Worth it!!! Battery lasts 2 days (worn constant on for 8-10 hours both days.

A small minus is that the battery unit makes a high frequency tone noise when turned on, not something you would notice until it's completely silent but when you first hear it you hear it all the time (sorry if a killed it for some of you other peps as well (sorry-not sorry!) )

The design is nice and has a good feel, not that typical hoodie look but much more swag! Something that the picture does not do enough justice! Worth it!

This is really unique. I bought a blue one. The color of the actual hoodie is black. Blue refers to the color of the neon light strip that goes along the zipper and around the edge of the hood.

Mine arrived quickly and lights up great.

The blue neon against the black hoodie is very striking.

I returned and didnt get to wear it out because it came to me with a broken zipper. It wouldn't unzip all the way. I put it on over my head and it fit nice and looks really cool in the dark. I might order another one because I liked it and would have kept it had the zipper worked.
