Using it as a make-up brush holder, the fingers bend well to accommodate what you're putting in. However after removing the item, the fingers stay in place and do not revert back to their natural form. After a lot of use, I do not see this product being able to hold it's original shape well.

I thought it would be helpful... It didn't work out for me. I holds pens a little too tight so that you have to hold the holder with one hand to pull the pen out. Also sometimes the pen cap comes off and the pen is left inside the holder.

It is nice and should be helpful for some, just not me.

I was looking for a solution to keep my pens and pencils where I can get to them without having to fiddle through a cup, or just throw them down on my desk. Plus I was always worried, especially with my fountain pens, about keeping the pen vertical to keep the nib from drying out. Loving my new Pen Zen!!

It arrived with a crack in the bamboo, but it doesn't affect the function. I use this to hold Copic and FaberCastell drawing pens, which are supposed to be stored sideways instead of upright. Plus, it's minimalist and natural looking. 5 stars, even with the defect.

As everyone else has stated, the silicone inserts are strong and hold well. My only gripe here is that you can't really put this vertical b/c you have to use both hands to get something out of it. I have it vertical at the moment anyways b/c I like how it sits, but it is impractical this way.

Aside from that, it is very pleasant to the eyes - it matches my Ikea desk perfectly - and serves its purpose well.

Love this design - it's creative, fun, and useful all-in-one. I have it on my office desk and always getting compliments about it. Only issue as some others mentioned is that it slides around, so you have to use both hands to get a pencil/pen. However, I resolved that issue simply by cutting a piece of non-slip shelf/drawer liner to size and adhering it to bottom.

I was so excited for this because I literally have an obsession with pens and constantly need a new place to put them. I was thrilled that this would grab my pens and all of the clips around my desk. However, this loses two starts because it showed up here broken. I don't want to send it back but I am disappointed.

Fantastic product - I use it at my desk and get a lot of compliments. I like that it can hold objects of multiple sizes so I have a pair of scissors, multiple pens and pencils, and even a small flashlight.

Super, nifty device. I attached it to my "over-bed" computer table and now all my writing implements are right next to my mouse. Very convenient. Hold pens and pencils of all sizes securely and are easy to put ni and get out. Highly recommend.
